Pathetic really for something thats meant to be "90's" ... I could let the Mud song slide in a way as pretty sure that would have been played on a Fri/Saturday night in clubs back then but still does not excuse them using songs from 2004! (or are we meant to forgive them that they lost the original Band Aid 80's or Band Aid II 90's have got lost in archive but 2004 is the closest they could play?)
Its so blantly obvious that whoever is in control of VH1 now is really scraping barrels with the channel - there is no proper thought into its playlists or the countdowns and keeping it "relevant" but lets not forget this has happened more than ONCE so there is no excuse for it!
Oh since I am on about VH1 yes the red logo is back I did note during the ad break the logo looks well "stretched" for it being "widescreen" now (but after ads logo returns to normal shape) another fault with this lot
EDIT: I have no issue with the christmas songs, my issue with VH1 is that its the researching of videos (or lack of) is what is bugging me - this was a channel that knew its music and even its decades but now its becoming more of an MTV channel ran by idiots - VH1 demographic is certainly not aimed at us who grew up in the 80's (before/after) as they bloomin well advertise MTV boll..cks "valleys" "geordies" and little investment forward for the brand - they may as well rename VH1 or just get rid of it as its definately a channel that has got me turning off (similar to the MTV stations barely watch them but I thought since VH1 was having a rebrand there would be life brought back to it .... obvious no rebrand (yet advertise it on MTV site

) and nothing new to it. Still the same old and same pathetic playlisting of songs relevant to the countdowns/programmes - can't take VH1 seriously anymore either ... same goes with MTV - TV channels ran by idiots for idiots its seems like!
