Well spotted, that looks a lot better and more modern.
They still don't have listings for MTV Live though! |

From Saturday 18th February, VH1 *80s Disco" becomes "80s, 90s and 00s Disco". That will mean less chance of playlist errors, unless they play some tracks from the 70s or 10s!

I use BBC 6 Music and Youtube more these days.
Totally agree about BBC Radio 6Music ![]() For example like 6music recommends http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00rz79k Mary Anne Hobbs and Lauren Laverne will have there slot as well from Feb. I Can listen to that station 24/7 ![]() Can not wait for 6 Music Festival 28 Feb-1st March in Manchaster, they have amazing line up ![]() If 6music will also have tv channel that would be the ultimate incredible music channel in the universe since in 2001 VIVA ZWEI was axed, still miss it though... ![]() but radio has it's own magic as well, respect to 6Music

... there goes my disco ball nowEDIT: I noticed this evening on VH1, they played TWO MTV "bumpers" "trailers" (whatever you call them) ie Big Tip Texas was one and I think the other was for The Valleys or something again I ask what relevance do they have to the demographic of VH1?? |

Vh1 - Still No Refresh...
Oh well we are now into February and MTV UK still has not got its fingers out its ass and gave the decaying channel VH1 a new update but VH1 is still happily playing the MTV ads The Valleys etc, I see MTV's effort is to wipe out a certain demographic from their channels and they are doing a good job at it - well I hope the plan backfires as I am well bored of waiting on the new update (which has been on MTV UK site for 6 months now? - false advertising in that apartment)
So what is MTV's game here?? - the MTV sister stations get refreshed with not much issue and VH1 is still waiting? Come on its a joke - why the delay, they already have teleshopping filling the air but they can't invest much into VH1? If they want save the bother and just close it. Also I noted this on MTV Music - since when and how long have they been highlighting the "artist/song title" at the START ONLY of the music videos? I noticed it when they played Katy B - Crying For No Reason that the "now" did not appear at end but the "show title and number" had gone off at end

They've just shown VH1 News on VH1 UK, which is new. The European version has been showing it since December.
Also, a Top 10 has just started and there's new bumpers showing the number between videos. Maybe things are slowly getting better.. |

To be honest if they have revamped all the other areas and not UK this would suggest that the channel is either in review or will be closed in the future.

Pretty sure there was VH1 news back in its hey day I would not really call it "new" I presume that if they had put "MTV" News on VH1 people would be questioning the channel more - now if VH1 can get its OWN trailers/bumpers rolling that will be the next step and getting rid of the MTV garbage filling the air (seeing the ads on VH1 makes MTV look really shameful I have to say...) |

So we finally see the end of the current graphics after about 10 years, I think VH1 UK should also have a Twitter and Facebook account.

Can anybody tell me the quality of sound on their 'Heat' channel.
Mine just sounds like it's in mono and so distant. |

Unfortunately they later stopped doing this and deleted the page (orders from management?) |

Nice to see Bauer channels not showing Teleshopping overnight, except for 4music. They are now continuing with music through the night and early morning.

This is really odd.. Teleshopping has gone from all the non-MTV channels except 4Music.
All the other Bauer, Chartshow, AATW channels are now free of teleshopping. |

VH1 Europe used to have a Facebook page, and they would often ask people to suggest videos for their themed slots. They'd play lots of the suggestions, even the more rare tracks.
Unfortunately they later stopped doing this and deleted the page (orders from management?) |

Perhaps they are testing to see if it worthwhile. - they do realise that viewers would not be wanting to see this tosh on during the night even if it is little viewers), maybe they can pass it on to other networks and channels too?

Could it be the reason why most of them have ditched Teleshopping is because most of them arent pulling in enough viewers to sustain a revenue ?
