Bliss has been renamed 21st Century Bliss, with new song graphics too.
Not sure if this is permanent or temporary.

Bliss seems to be my most watched music channel recently - am a country fan and they've had a few tracks that never get played on any other channels, and am liking the mix of Indie/Rock mixed in too.
Indie/Rock but showing crap 90's pop during the day. The Vault is a bit of a cheesy pop outlet now. Indie is great but why shut NME in the first place?

Quite a shame as the mellow, 80's, 90's pop videos have no place on CSC channels now and there's no golden archive channel. 21st century Bliss is just saying anything from the past 10+ years is good nothing more.

Clearly this change is to rival Now Music.

21st Century Bliss branding and rename has to be the most pointless ever!

Blur - Country House played on Gorge Indie Guys! , whilst i do like Blur its a 90s track from the 20th Century released 1995!!!

Although i do like the new song titles on it and the shift to Indie on the playlists too but do give that POP crap a rest geez there's wayyy too much of that on TV as it is.

Interesting to see some promising rebrands for Chart Show and Chart Show Dance and they roll out a sloppy rebrand for Bliss.

Let's hope it's temporary and they have other plans for Bliss.

Isn't Bliss now just The Vault II, minus the late 90's which The Vault are now obsessed with (all the reunion stuff)?

CS Dance have an In The Mix month - nothing new here but the title.

VH1 have picked up a bit with the occasional song they don't play very often - not neccesarily rare songs, but the odd song that they don't play every month or three.

Bauer show no signs of changing - every bit of music/celebrity news has the words 'fit', 'amazing' (or their equivalents) or innuendo in. Anything that isn't to do with ability really. About time they merged 4Music/Heat and Smash Hits.

Clubland - don't get the Judge Jules Fetish - he hasn't been relevant since the 90's and to continually promote his charts all the time - last Sunday he was on all day giving his 'views' and the rest of the week it's mainly charts - please go back to viewer selected music 24/7.

Amazes me music channels are still viable showing the same crap videos..they all shown the same. The 90's pop is mirrored on other channels like MTV and Bauer not just CSC. What makes them think cheesy pop from the 90's is in some way classic or popular? the reunion stuff has really not gathered much interest other than Take That a few years ago and McBusted. The rest just made there money and vanished again.

Surely there's better stuff from the 90's..Oasis, Pulp, Greenday, Metallica? Few networks pick up on these.

I don't mind the pop stuff to a degree as that was what I was into BUT they should have other videos available that they can play or is this the "too safe" playlist?? Not just that they can and should play other hits and even "misses" in the charts back then but I guess not. I ain't into this "big reunion" thing either, caught a bit of the programme looked more staged than Big Brother!

One thing I hate about music channels is adverts, I can put up with them on other channels but they so annoy me on music channels. I know it is to generate revenue but can't they have them every hour not every 3 songs.

Also, I used to watch UK Hot 40 on The Box, Smash HIts but when they got rid of saying how many places moved up or down and when they said the wrong Christmas No.1 (they said Little Mix) changed to Official UK Top 40 which didn't show the movement of songs before. However, before every break, the presenter keeps mentioning new entries and will it get to No.1. You do not need to mention it after each song and most of the time, a song that has not been mentioned gets to No.1 which makes the whole thing pointless. Also, they cut off the end of songs which also annoys me but I watch it because without knowing the movement of the songs, the chart doesn't feel complete.

Also, does anyone remember a top 20 chart on Smash Hits(?) and Chasing Cars randomly appeared at 11 and 9

Official Top 40 is the only chart that counts anyway and even then I don't pay any attention any more.

I don't remember the chart you mention, but it happens all the time. Last night on MTV Hits, 20 Top 20 US Collabs, Moves Like Jagger appeared at 13 and 1.

Have the old controllers of VH1 moved onto MTV Hits?? Surely that should have been spotted before broadcast or did someone sleep on the job??

The music on VH1 is much better now, they must have a new programmer. I saw Fatboy Slim - Weapon of Choice recently, and Mary J Blidge - Family Affair has just been on. It's more like VH1 Europe with some surprising track choices. The silly mistakes don't seem to happen anymore either.

I wish they didn't repeat UK Top 40 so often though.

VH1's new slogan ''Get with It'' ? Does that mean that if you're over the age of 24 you should automatically like this because if you don't you arent deemed cool enough

.. meanwhile, on 21st and 22nd March, MTV Classic have "Every Number One of the 90s" all weekend. I'd love to see a return of the full "Number Ones Week" with every No. 1 from 1980-now in chronological order.

Just curious though - why couldn't VH1 ran like that before to what myself and others had been reporting?? Someone has actually taken notice and these mistakes are happening less now?? VH1 should have never been making mistakes in the first place which baffles me - they were not long ago in my opinion running VH1 to the ground yet surprisingly seem to be very slowly turning it around?? MTV UK are very odd thats for sure , pity VH1 can't get rid of the MTV ads they are becoming boring now and any word yet on when the new look is phasing in??

Nah the VH1 UK slogan will be "innit" and we will have the cast of Geordie Shore/Valleys/TOWIE telling us how cool VH1 really is - prepares to jump ship.....

I use to like it on VH1 when they use to run it with the #1 info but when they run these weekends you don't have the info to say when in say the 90's they were #1, but since MTV has had a major upgrade with titles will they display the info or not??

Exactly but those at MTV believe we have to follow that trend (include some of today's youth they probably would feel more in touch with VH1 than they do MTV)

Possibly soon! I think you should have said when will VIVA add an extra hour of "teleshopping"

They may remove the teleshopping and dump the music on overnight, Pretending to be a music channel on the Sky EPG which is what MTV used to do.

I wish I could see that but I can't as it seems to be more music is being phased out on VIVA, apart from running countdowns I don't see much point in VIVA at all, its just another MTV clone channel. MTV expects us to believe it really cares for music but in reality it cares for reality tat and teleshopping, in less than a decade it just shows how MTV UK has sunk

Looking at Bauer channels The Box, Smash Hits and Heat according to schedule tonight no sign of teleshopping! So why can Bauer do that but MTV pathetically sticks to teleshopping all week?? Why can they not do that with their channels??

MTV's never been the same since Most Wanted ended - and that's going back quite sometime.

I really miss the NME channel. Used to quite like MTV2 as well (I think it may have rebranded now) but NME was brilliant.
Does Q still have a music channel?

MTV2 has been rebranded MTV Rocks whilst Q went off air a few years ago
