I'd like a channel that bans the following people from being played.

Pitbull
Rihanna
Jessie J
Beyonce
Jay Z
One Direction
Justin Bieber
Conor Maynard
Rita Ora
Olly Murs

@Linkinpark875, you mentioned TMF. The only thing I miss about that channel is the Matchmaker games during music videos and the fact they showed Drawn Together and Wondershowzen.

When they have 'May The Pop Be With You' it is all the same songs - Stacie Oricco, Nicole Scherzinger - Wet, Liberty X, Gaga and so on.

I have a few more you can add to that list, but I agree all of those are horrors.

They seem to be playing this at least 10 times a day too.

It's an old song and probably didn't even reach the top 40 but it would be nice to see some different forgotten pop songs that failed in the charts.

I forgot Chris Brown, who are the ones you'd add?

Allstars and S Club Juniors quite a lot too.

Chris Brown is another good one.

Too many to mention for me, but Little Mix would be one, Ellie Goulding for most of her songs, especially the ear splitting oooo-ooooo-ooooahhh she puts at the end of most of them, Pink with her stupid childish lyrics and raspberry blowing, Lady Gaga and Lily Allen (for Lily Allen, read Pink)

A couple of things to raise my eyebrows today.

Spice Girls - Wannabee on 21st Century Now

Nicki Minaj on Girls of Eurodance (Number 10) although this is an old chart they haven't worked out she isn't European.

The Vault still seems to be obsessed with S Club Juniors. But they only ever play 2 S Club 7 songs.

I'd ban any David Guetta song that features a rapper or Rihanna. I like Bang Bang, the new one and the one with Sia.

I make sure I avoid 21st Century Bliss at all costs.

Clubland should stick to being 24/7 requests. The countdowns are a waste of time.

They are onto another S Club Junior - Calvin Goldspink? At the moment.

Sexy Chick is the only Guetta song i'd even remotely listen too.

It's Now that had Spice Girls on - in their 21st Century programme.

Yep, countdowns are pointless. Judge Jules and his countdowns are horrendous.

The only countdowns that should be on music TV are official charts or viewer request charts. Everything else is totally pointless.

Luckily I haven't had signal on Now Music for a while.

The Judge Jules countdowns are a bit shit but they do play they odd rare gem.

Official Charts should only be shown twice a week, once on a Sunday and once on a Wednesday (Update). They need to get rid of the year so far charts and all themed charts.

The music channels should all be viewer requests or themed zones where the videos are shuffled so the same track doesn't play at the same time the next day.

Have you noticed that some CSC music channels don't have any adverts after 1am. Then at 5am til 6am, Bliss, CS Dance, Flava and The Vault will all simulcast Chart Show. I suppose it's better than Teleshopping.

As of today, MTV Dance International, MTV Rocks International and MTV Hits International are officially available in mainland Europe.

For the time being, they are completely ad-free and don't use any watermarks on screen, just channel logos and showtitle banners.

The schedule appears to be different too (i.e. "Festival Favourites" is currently airing on MTV Rocks instead of "10 Biggest Tracks Right Now" as on the UK version).

Are the playlists different on MTV Dance International ?

This is unexpected.
VH1 Europe presented new look!

link with video here:
http://youtu.be/j1d0nq2Pmz4

looks great! Logo is grey but finally this chanell has refresh!
Wonder if UK version will look the same and when it will be upgraded?

Looking forward for polish version of VH1 to adapt new look and change music playlist
Would be great if they will come back to interactive choice of top 10

I mentioned a few weeks ago Vh1 Europe was planning to switch to widescreen today, but I thought they'd just stretch the old graphics like the UK channel did when it switched to 16:9. Hope to see the new look in the UK soon!

Question is how can they claim to play more classic videos than anyone else with Vintage TV around?

When I look at VH1 to Vintage - Vintage dares itself to go for acts/tracks that VH1 don't play (unsure if there is any major difference to MTV Classic) - they possibly mean it as in playing the SAME classic videos more than anyone else??

just watched the youtube clip - new look actually looks better and cleaner, and the "programme title" actually has a bit of animation - they seem to keep part of the old look with that "scroller"

Think VH1 just have modern chart rubbish now as 80s disco has been dropped.

thats the problem with VH1 its too modern - I remember the channel use to play actual disco songs on I think friday/saturday night, none of this stuff they call "disco" these days - MTV controllers of today you should really look back at what your channels done then and try and recreate it again but of course you won't

Like the new look, very clean (and a little bit "old skool") but dislike the programme title. Why do we need to know that the current theme is 'VH1's Greatest Hits' and why does it need to be on screen permanently? Even MTV time out their programme titles after about 30 secs

Now it's caught onto the Big Reunion and hopes this cheesy pop will come back. Spice Girls and Girls Aloud have gone out of fashion now as have Five. They were all Z listers The Vault brought back.

There obsession with cheesy pop puzzles me. I've not seen much demand for it other than ITV2's reality show. Radio ect.. all play chart music.”

I'm pretty sure The Vault's audience has gone up since they turned it into a pop channel. It didn't really have much of an identity before. It played too much of everything. At least it plays completely different stuff from the other channels. They're obviously going for a 25-35 female and gay audience who like that sort of thing.

They need to delve deeper into the Vault and play some more pop videos from 1990+ that haven't been played for a while. Classic chart show repeats were terrible and 80s music is always on Vintage TV, Heart and sometimes Magic so we don't any more 80s music.

I think The Vault should become more interactive, cut down on the Big Reunion shows, let people make suggestions for videos and shuffle the playlists a bit so the same videos don't come on at the same time every day.”

It's odd isn't it, because they are perfectly happy to take the risk of playing really random stuff like that Gemini track, but they show them over and over again. I agree they need a bigger selection of tunes.

I've seen some videos that aren't even available on YouTube in the past, Lolly's Viva La Radio official video wasn't on YouTube when they started playing it (Don't think it is now) and it looks like that Gemini video wasn't there as it has the Vault logo and I can't find any others.

There's loads of pop videos they could play but they choose not to. The only songs from 1990-1997 they play are Spice Girls plus I've seen one 80's video by Janet Jackson which I find odd.

Not what Barb viewing figures say. Bliss has strunk the most however The Vault has lost a lot of viewers too. It's one of the worst performing CSC channels now.

Since when did that happen on MTV? Last time I watched their sister stations ie Dance the titles are still up during play of songs. The "programme title" display has been going since the 00's its not a new thing really

I currently have no signal on nearly every channel and the other day my only options for music channel were 4 Bauer channels. I put Kerrang on and was surprised to see Evanescence. Kerrang only ever plays faux rock and it was nice to see such a brilliant proper rock band on being played for once.
