Looking at the latest viewing figures, Magic TV seems to be getting more viewers week after week.

Hard to believe isn't it. I really do hope she leaves soon as CSCs music channels are dying a slow and painful death with her in charge, this time last year I couldn't fault them but they've deteriorated to point there's almost no chance of saving them.

CSC seem to have presenters on loads of things now. Andrew Hayden Smith and James Barr from Crapital FM do voicovers for shows and Faleo, Jake, Beez, Donatella, Fat guy etc all present a show of some sort. But of course it will always be Faleo who interviews a current popstar, you can see how excited she gets whenever she's on screen.

But I'd rather those presenters (Minus Faleo) than Mosquito Oliver or Will Best who you always see and hear on the Baeur channels

That will be all Bliss viewers slowly migrating/jumping ship since the channel is on it's way out.

AKA's app is now available on Android so it means people who don't have iPhones can vote. I was surprised at how big the playlist is, as there's over 150 videos to choose from and most of them are unknown artists.

It's just a shame they only choose to play the mainstream crap like Rihanna and Pitbull countdowns.

Looks like Chart Show Dance is sticking about - new graphics have launched in line with Chart Show TV.

I wonder if this look will see The Vault rebranded similarly... and maybe Bliss or Scuzz?

The voiceover guys are bearable. James Barr anyway. Andrew Hayden Smith is annoying.

Faleo has no presenting skills and her interviewing skills are worse.

Bauer presenters are woeful. Ricky and Melvin need to do more.

Unlikely Bliss as they've had two rebrands this year already, although not so much graphics wise.

MTV Dance currently have 2005 flashback - only they are current songs!

Clubland disappoint me again - they've taken all the songs I request off - maybe they have fair usage and have removed them for that reason, although it is strange they have kept all the songs they never/rarely play and have kept all the other songs that they play all the time, more than the ones I requested. Very strange bunch of people at Clubland as they do this all the time, almost to annoy the viewer by taking away what they want.

Ricky & Melvin annoy me, have you seen Sweat The Small Stuff? Melvin is a panelist and he's a complete tool.

I think the CS Dance rebrand is quite cool, the logo is the same as Chart Show but with .Dance and the graphics are completely different to the main show and are better than the other CSC channels (Apart from Scuzz which is amazing) but the only problem is the content. It's bloody awful and One Direction: In The Mix should NOT be on a Dance music channel

I hope CSC never rebrand all their channels to make them like the main channel e.g. Chart Show Urban, Chart Show Rock etc. It would be awful but it wouldn't surprise with the way they are going. I just hope somebody takes over from over who ever is making these terrible decisions and ruining the channels as CSC could easily go bust and it would be all their own fault. Scuzz needs it's own identity and would probably become as bad as MTV Rocks if it rebranded.

It would work for Bliss to rename as Chart Show Hits now since the music policy change which is music from 2000 to present.

The Vault will be less music based channel over the coming months, I'm predicting they will shift up all 3 chart show spin offs up the EPG eg:

365 Chart Show TV
366 Chart Show Hits (Currently Bliss)
367 Chart Show Gold (using the current old Vault stream) for music before the millenium.
371 Chart Show Dance

372 Scuzz
374 Flava
376 Starz

The New Vault should move into the Entertainment section to focus on Family entertainment which should replace the True Enterainment +1 slot.

Do you not think those Chart Show branded channels would be awful if they did that? It just makes them seem generic and lacking identity like MTV.

They really need to ask people for feedback on their channels. Blindly going as the way are now just isn't working.

They f*ck*d up when they got rid of Flaunt IMO , Dance Nation should have never happened thats what killed that channel which lead to a flop which followed after to what we have now. I do agree it would be very generic of them to brand most of their music channels under the 'Chart show' branding though.

Bliss is ruined now that it's no longer a classic ballads/light chill music channel.

Flaunt was a good channel and I was annoyed when they got rid of it.

This person is responsible for ruining Bliss https://twitter.com/StefanieFaleo

Chart Show TV once tried showing programes. The aired 'Inside Spearmint Rhino' late at night before Minx about 5 years ago.

Don't like the current dance trend in the mainstream anymore but Flaunt at the time was great even if it was still with us now don't think I'd be a viewer of it now with recent dance releases being absolute crap , it's the Pop/R&B Dance crossovers i can't stand i miss Rapture the most for its house and dancey trance videos , Clubland has a few but even that channel isnt perfect but i have to show them a little respect for playing Blank & Jones - Watching The Waves and Paul van Dyk & Saint Etienne - Tell Me Why which are both amazing tunes.

I remember Bliss used play videos like Barbra Steisand , Tina Turner , Belinda Carlisle , Blondie and Celine Dion on the playlists , you don't see these artist anymore or anything alike , the channel simply no longer stands out anymore as it's much the same as Chart Show TV now but with more older videos from the last 5 years from what i see on it alot.

What is the obsession not playing anything or only a select few songs before 2009? Does this mean everything before then was just an illusion? It's not right.

I presume its called "selective tracking" what do you expect?? anything before then is highlighted on "flashbacks" (possibly weekend play), to me its like they forget it all or its classed as the new "old skool"

The whole playlist structure on the whole lot of them needs overhauled and thought out if not just close them down .... its just repetitive and annoying

The people in charge are lazy. Just look at CSC, up until last year they were one of the best. Their Dance channel has been a mess for a while but their other channels were good, however they've let a complete moron run their channels to the ground just because she's a fan of certain artists. They're on the verge of failure and they obviously don't realise it.

Replace these people with people who know music and what people want and not hire people like Stefanie Faleo who change a channel to a trashy modern pop channel just because she's obsessed with trash like Beyonce, Rihanna and Jessie J. Work experience or people who are just starting a career in television would do a much a better job than the current idiots.

What would be your ideal channel?

My ideal channel is at least a channel that operates 24 hours day WITHOUT teleshopping
A channel that covers all ranges of music and even decades (have different days devoted to a genre)
VH1 back in the 90's ran "artist(s) of the month" <<<< maybe start that again?
if it was a VH1/Vintage TV channel actually concentrate on music of yesteryear and up to a point of music of today
cut down on the "charts"
stop the stupid countdowns ie Guetta VS the world (uh huh OK)
channel playlists actually play music they are catered to, ie keep all the "pop" artists to say MTV Hits and whatever channel BUT not on every channel for the sake of it
viewer requests/interaction - ie MTV Select/Most Wanted
documentaries - Behind The Music (most of these have automatically went to MTV or VIVA - some still have never aired on VH1 - oh the irony!)
channel has an IDENTITY not the same generic type we see - ie VH1 is still barraged by MTV ads - why?? VH1 should be all things VH1 (or at least mix MTV ads in with VH1 ads not just MTV ONLY ads - they already alienate me still when I see those ads there - and I doubt people younger than I or older than I actually give a damn about someone's ex on a beach - lets get real!)
I know its a list again but thats what I would get rid of and make an ideal channel, but again why are we the ones needing to point out all that is wrong on todays "entertainment" / "music" channels? They know what they have done but I doubt they care

Just wondering with the World Cup on, are any of the music channels showing Football songs like they normally do every 4 years? I remember 4Music doing this in 2010.

Arhhh, VH1 back in the 90's was brilliant. No risk adverse shiit like we have across all the channels now. I fear those days are gone forever!

What has Magic doing to get an increase in viewers? Is it still the usual top 100 Power Ballads nonsense non-stop? (just noticed it doesn't have teleshopping anymore! Horrah!)

Musical tastes aside the best (out of an incredibly bad bunch) channel would still be The Box for me. Although a shadow of it's former self, the channel still takes risks on new material from unknowns, which sometimes bomb tbf, but others become hits.

I'm unaware of MTV and the alike showing "football" songs but I know MTV has on at moment #mtvkickoff (and once more its a battle against artists) - where did we see that again oh thats right their "versus" material (really??) is this what they can come up with??

In the 90's I was more of the MTV type, VH1 was second to me - but in saying that was aware of its programming admittedly I use to watch on there was VH1's Disco Party (think it was Friday/Saturday nights), but now I'll watch a bit of it but I like its new look but its the ads that are putting me right off the channel

Magic - Don't really watch it lol, at times its like watching 4Music or Smash Hits on Magic with likes of Rihanna on there

I liked The Box back then but I agree its a shadow of its former self - it too is that reliant on running charts all day, every day (again new look is OK but music wise I don't watch it these days - possibly because its predictable as its nearly the same on all other channels), The Box I think has always been that - it looks for new talent but whether the artist(s) get the well deserved exposure to the likes of mainstream is debatable and again can come down to "favouritism"

Chart Show Dance was pretty good last night! Their 'Ibiza All Nighter' was playing decent commercial dance tunes and I even spotted a video that was played on Flaunt during their 'gay' era (the flashing warning watermark was on the vid lol)

Channels do play quite a lot before 2009, but, it is the same songs over and over as you suggest.

You do get the odd rarer song though.

Yes, a few channels have football titled programmes, but not many have football songs - just the same crap under another name.

MTV Classic are showing football songs though.
