Hi, I recently took out a contract with O2 and got my bill for £52.38.

After reading what the charges were, I accepted the fact that it was for internet and put it down to the first few days where I was connecting via O2 Wap where I wasn't in a Wi-Fi area.

But when I'm texting the O2 thing where it texts you back how many mins you got left etc, i've got "since your last bill there are recent charges of £1.91 ex. VAT".

I've only used Maps since my bill came through on Weds / Thurs, will that be the £1.91? I use the internet on my mobile at home & college and connect to the Wi-Fi, will be quite annoyed if they are charging me for this.

No, they don't charge you to connect to wi-fi hotspots. (of course the hot-spot provider may charge seperately)

Thank You for clearing that up. I thought it would've been odd if they were charging me for using my internet.
