The song is very radio friendly, and the poster above ^ is correct that they aren't sounding/looking like typical X Factor wanabees. They're still quite popular so I can see this definately reaching the top ten.

They are getting promoted really well..and performing the single at Summertime ball on Sunday so I think it will be in the top 5..And whether they do as well as number 1 will depend on who else is in the chart that week

Lady Gaga is obvious compitition - Paparazzi is a really popular song and obviously she's already got two UK #1's this year.

Think JLS will probably peak at at #2.

I think JLS will be number 2 actually as Lady GaGa is massive competition- but number 2 is great compared to Eoghan's attempts to reach the top. They have their whole music career in front of them, so there is still chance for a number 1!

I doubt Gaga will get Number 1 - judging by La Roux's lead on Itunes I would say she could stay there for 3 weeks and be the main competition when they come out

I think they could be very successful. There arent really any boybands like them around at the moment and they have great personalitys and voices (and looks )
and theyre not doing an album full of cheesy covers
I dont know if beat again will be number 1 but I feel that it will definately be up there somewhere

I'm sticking to my guns and saying this will be #1

my only concern is that the release date it too late. people might be bored of it by 3 weeks. its already been on the music channel for weeks!

I don't think it will make the Top 40.

Then you obviously havent got a clue

Its almost number 1 on pre-order charts, is getting loads of radio/ tv play etc and they have an inbuilt fanbase from the show, which they seem to have kept with them.

This is gathering a lot of momentum and has a real chance of challenging for the top spot. The downloads will have been repressed for a few weeks by the time their release date comes around and that can only help first week sales.

La Roux and/or Gaga will be their main competition. Can't see anyone else challenging tbh; I reckon they should easily slot into the top 3 and have a great shot at the top spot itself.

I'm predicting #4.

La Roux is definately #1 this week, and i'd be suprised if she doesn't retain her spot for another few weeks. Plus, Lady GaGa, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, The Saturdays, Take That and Jordin Sparks are all rapidly climbing the charts.

SEB is out on Physicals this week and only looks set to make top 10 - I can't see them challenging JLS in 3 weeks time

The Saturdays are out next week and are only top 30 on DLs - I can't see them challenging JLS in 3 weeks time

Take That - Were released on physicals last week and got to 9 - now dropping out of the chart - I can't see them challenging JLS in 3 weeks time or being in the top 20 at all

Lady Gaga and Jordin could well be competition - however both are selling well now and therefore sale could well drop off within the next 3 weeks. Jordin is only number 11 on I-Tunes and seems to have peaked last week when she climbed up to number 7/8.

With Lady Gaga I can't see her getting to number 1 - the song is nowhere near as catchy as her previous 2 efforts and the album has sold bucket loads. It is 3 on Itunes at the moment, however is miles behind the juggernauts of David Guetta and La Roux.

I would say La Roux is their only competition for the top spot and her sales will most probably be dropping off in 3 weeks time

I think they've done extraordinarily well to get on the Radio 1 A-List - it's a good song. Number 1 doesn't seem like an impossibility actually.
