Remote Control Solution?
For those having problems with their highly selective remote controls, I wonder if you have tried new batteries. My HDR and batteries are relatively new and I thought they must be OK, but I tried some newly charged Eneloop batteries and the difference was amazing. From sitting 8 feet away from the receiver, I could point the remote at the ceiling and it was still operating the unit, could it be a case of overlooking the obvious?

LOL, that was the first thing I tried.
Having suffered for over a year with what I thought was a useless DVD remote that turned out to work perfectly with new batteries it was an obvious starting point when the PVR zapper performed so poorly. |
