How Low Does The Chart Go?
Bill Clinton

Below 40 how low does the singles chart go before it stops. I've heard of 75 but are there positions lower than that?

I thought you were asking how dreadful it could get!

However, try the BPI website - they might have a longer list. Sorry don't know the address.

Its officially a Top 75 chart, but they do publish a top 100 I think

Top 75 is listed as a 'hit' single. Top 100 is or was listed in NME up to recently. I have heard of singles having a position below 100 but don't know if this is official.

It's a top 200 from the offical chart people, my mate who works in a record company shows it to me once. It is very precise. At the bottom of the chart records are shifting as little as 50 copies.

50 Copies - You only need to shift 4,000 to make the top 10!

Offically the Top 75.
