Whats the difference between the LG Viewty and Secrete?

My LG Viewt got run over by a train as it fell out of my pocket when I slipped getting on a train, anyway, I was going to by a new LG Viewty SIM free for £97 in Phone 4 U. But then I saw (in the same store) the LG Secrete is currently £125 from £300.

What's the difference between the 2?
Is it worth paying the extra money?

(Note I really want to stick to LG, or a touch screen phone of the same or better spec.) (NOT the iPhone).

The Secrete is a more up to date, better looking LG phone. For the extra £25 i'd have it.

It has an accelerometer, face detection and you don't need to worry about the Viewty's dodgy total touchscreen

Ah, thanks for the website, yeah they guy I spoke to told me about the site today, but I forgot the address.

Is it still fully touchscreen IE, you don't need to use the numbers?
I loved that on the viewty.

Its a new Viewty with 8MP camra, that 7MB internet, FM and everything!

I have had a lg viewty in the past and i am currently using the LG secret. In my opinion, the Secret is better than the viewty. Better design (has a scratchproof screen, made of carbon fibre) and the camera is just the same if not better. And it does still play DIVX videos. The only thing is the touch sensitive buttons are a bit of a pain because they are way too sensitive. The only thing i miss from the viewty is a QWERTY keyboard, but the secret has pretty much all the other capabilities of the viewty but better. Definatley worth the extra in my opinion.

I've got an Lg Secret and it's a hellishly buggy phone, especially bad for switching itself off for no reason..with no support from Lg.. eg..no software updates..

Don't be too taken in by the touch sensetive buttons, they only work for moving through the menu and for the games installed, and are a bit fiddly to work with..

I've had it 10 months and can't wait till renewal time..won't be going for an Lg again..

The new LG does look nice, but if it was anything as good as the "amazing new 5MP Viewty" i will not be going near it... Maybe things have changed at LG, but from what i have seen all their mobiles have the same basic issues.

That does look nice..but it should, because from the front at least it looks just like the Secret, which isn't an issue in my book..

It's how the phone works, when it's not having temper tantrums, and how much back up it gets that would steer me away from Lg..

One horrendous experience is enough to keep me away from Lg phones till i know they're better than they are just now..
