Had a quick search through the forum but couldn't find anything. Looking to buy a ipod Touch but would wait for Generation 3 if it was imminent.

No-one knows, it hasn't been announced.

The last two ipod touches were released Sept 07 and Sept 08 so i would say 3rd generation will be Sept 09.

how many GB's on the one (when it does come out) 64 i hope

The rumourmill suggest a 32Gb iPhone will be announced this summer.

If that's true, a 64Mb iPod Touch won't be far behind.
