After tonight the contenders to win got very short.

James who I thought might be a contender, SAS disregarded that notion tonight.

Ben has been much better recently but still won't win

Lorraine to coin SAS 's phrase has a taxi driver ready to punch iin her address to his satnav.

Howard I can't see as the winner either.

Just leaves Yasmina and Debra, just the three then, but Kate would get hired over both I think.

Her pitching was superb again tonight after a quiet first half.

I have to be honest shes coming across as the best of them now and youre right her pitch was very well done.

Im rather glad the other half has gone I do think it was having an impact on her performace in the tasks she seems much more with it.

I think it will be between Kate and Yasmina.

Kate did recover very well after last week, her and Yasmina seem to work well as a team. Hire them both!

Can't take to Kate myself, but I reckon she has it in the bag.

What a difference from when she was trying to pitch in the catering task !

Certainly a front runner.

Yasmina and Debra are making the classic mistake of thinking that of youwant to be taken seriously as a woman in business you have to be rude, aggressive and dosn right snappy. Kate comes across as genuinely likeable which is important in business.

I think the final will be Howard and Kate, with Kate just winning. That's my prediction.

She's a great at making a pitch but I haven't seen a good business sense on her yet. The task where she won - the weakest link was the advert where she was responsible for. I think this year Sir Alan wants an all-rounder. Mona was great at selling but SAS got rid of her the next week when she showed she's not as brilliant in other aspects in business.

That said, I think the final will be between Kate and Yasmina.

I rate Kate over Yasmina - Kate has smoother working relationships with others, pitches well, is usually a good seller, and develops some great marketing ideas.

Yasmina may have led her two teams to victory, but both were by default. In the second week, she served up rubbish canapes that would never get any repeat orders in the real world, and just now the family concept she chose for Margate had already been done to death.

I agree but think Howard may win instead.

Can only see Kate or Yasmina winning.

I think Kate does have one huge asset - she's not impatient. If you look back at the entire history of The Apprentice, impatience tends to wreck most candidates' chances.

Look at this week with Lorraine speaking about the poster having too much text and Yasmina got impatient with her. Kate never does that. She doesn't seem to get cross or impatient and I think this is a huge plus. Out of all the remaining candidates she may have the best personality for business.

I think the final will be Kate and Howard, with Kate winning deservedly. I think the only two deserving people now are Kate and Yasmina, and I dont think Yasmina would get through the interviews, though she isnt doing herself any harm by winning her PM tasks by some margain. I hope Yasmina wins atm, just because Kate was dire last week, but if and when Kate wins, I'll be just as happy.

Well speaking as a guy, I think we need a man in the final! We can't have two women in the final. Us men will feel a bit useless if the women end up on top!

I think Kate will win as well after tonight. She is the most well rounded candidate and I think Howard is the next best candidate.

I not convinced by Yasmina as a winner, she makes a good PM with her organisation skills and I have always had her towards the top of the contenders but she always seems to make an elementary mistake and has been up against two badly performing pms in Rocky(the worst of the lot) and Debra who was very bad tonight.

Debra's just good at sales. Not much more to her than that but this puts her above the rest for me.

Lorraine has good and bad weeks. She won't win or last beyond next week.

I've always liked James but he is popular due to his personality not his strength as a candidate.

Ben is still the weakest candidate left but has improved.

One thing that could be against Kate is Phillip's media whoring. Of course, it's not her fault but he is her boyfriend, she could tell him to shut his gob up.

I think the media attention Michelle got with the Syed affair led to the souring of their business relationship. Compare that to two other previous winners who are still with SAS - Simon and Lee who haven't courted the media at all.

Kate's been my favourite from the start. Initially this was for shallow reasons but, although those reasons still apply, I do admire her performance. She leads a team well, does a mean presentation and can think fast on her feet.

Frankly, even if she doesn't win, I think she has a great future ahead of her.

I don't know; I wouldn't have said Lee McQueen was the most patient of men.

I still think that one of Howard/Kate/Yasmina will win.

I don't think anyone else even stands a chance now.

I've been thinking that. It's not like Phil has been slagging Kate off in any way, but the media attention and interest in them as a couple I thought may put SAS off. I hope not. For all Philips faults he seems genuine in that arena and I think if Kate was given a choice then Phil would be quickly shot to the curb. I would assume Philip would have told her he was going to do the articles.

Depends a bit what the job is. He keeps on mentioning "creativity" (as opposed to flogging TV screens last time) so perhaps thats the key box to tick for this year's job. There's been a lot of concept to sale tasks this year too. Kate may also need a decent selling performance to retick that box too after last week . I think he quite likes Debra but she's unticked her creativity box this week and the difficult box still has a tick in it. Yasmina looks like Kate's competition to me but he may see something in Howard which totally escapes me - particularly if his Michelle alarm bells go off for the wrong reasons.

Its interesting that Kate not only understands her competition and can deal with them but she also seems to understand SAS's thinking - that should be a big benefit to the organisation from taking her but he may not think so........

Eeer they did completely miss the object of rebranding though. I mean, it was nothing new was it?

So for me it was epic fail on that part.

Personally I'm not sure why people feel Kate is as good as she is.. in previous weeks she has looked quite weak to me.

I think Howard is a certainty for the final, the only question will be if SA wants to hire another bloke or if he wants to go for a female this time to even things up.

Howard is the exact type of person SA hires, young, can handle himself infront of people, has ideas etc. He reminds me of Simon Ambrose. This weeks task probably got him into the final. It will just depend on which direction SA goes.

The only thing going against Howard is his age. SAS tends to hire people around the 26-30 mark every time.
