Okay so I would liek to set up email on my Nokia N95. I am a bit confused though. I have chose POP3 option as I would liek to use my hotmail. Ive entered my email address and now its asking for incoming and outgoing mail server and access point. Now im confused.

Somebody just told me that I cant have hotmail on my phone so how do I go about getting any type of email?

Get yourself an O2 email account, it's free, has a large mailbox and it's accessible on your phone (or your PC via the web or your email program). Go to www.o2.co.uk and set it up there, then use the settings (helpfully on the website) and enter these into your phone. If you get in a muddle, the English staff in English callcentres will help you. 08705 678 678 (you can probably find an 0800/landline number if you'd rather not call that one)
There's another called 'momail' which is email designed specifically for phones. Again, all the settings are on the website.

Not quite true, some are in Scottish callcentres too.

This is true, but they do speak and understand English, and more importantly - they understand what your problem is and give you information and advice on how to correct it instead of reading off a pre-written answer sheet.

But they're not in English callcentres.

OP: yes you can get hotmail on your phone as mentioned in the other thread you started.

UK ones then.

And as far as I know, you can get the 'free' version of hotmail on your phone by logging in via a web browser, but if you want to use an email program with 'pop' settings you have to use the paid for version.

I don't think Hotmail supports POP3 unless you pay for the Pro version of Hotmail. Google Mail provides POP3 and IMAP for free although it might be a slight inconvenience for you changing email addresses.
