Does anyone know if there's a way to get a recording of your answerphone message (if that makes sense)? I'm on Orange, but if I wanted to move network I was wondering if there's a way to take my message with me! Without playing it and sticking the speaker to a recorder, obviously, as that would probably come out as muffled mess!

Couldn't you just record it again? Or, if it's one of those 'celebrity' ones, buy it again?

Perhaps you should request your A-PAC number from Orange?

...your Answerphone Porting Authority Code.

I thought that was a real thing for a second- durr!

It's Ana Matronic from Scissor Sisters doing it- I won a Radio 1 competition (which was nice). She made one up for me and it's quite funny which is why I wanted to keep it!

How abour ringing your mobile from a landlane phone that has a answermachine, then hit record on the answermachine before your mobile answer message kicks in. im not sure if all answer machines do it but the one we used to have you could hit record and it would record the conversation.
Then just play it back to record it to your new network voicemail.
