I can't believe the stereotyping going on here. This lot are a pop band for Gods sake. They have now relased 5 singles - all have hit the top ten - with 3 going in at 1, 2 and 3. They have 2 gold albums and a sell out tour under their belt.
They are not from 'council' estates - as if that makes any difference to any aspect of their work. They are from Chingford and Highams Park in Essex.
They don't pretend to be anything other than ten mates who have made it in the pop industry. They have a mix of talent as Sazz says some can sing, some can mc - they are not manufactured and groomed a la Pop Idol and Fame Academy.
They write their own lyrics and beats and are producing some of their own stuff now. They do the odd cover (and who doesn't these days - Big Brovaz seem to be living off covers as do Westlife).
Give them credit for being around for over 2 years now.
Pop is short for 'Popular' and thats what they are. There will always be snobs who come up with the 'Council Estate' and 'Townie' remarks - and I thought the class system was a thing of the past.
Kacas has it sussed - if you don't like then don't listen but don't be so high and mighty that you feel you have the right to move from critism to personal insults.

.I just think the music industry needs room for some real talent, rather than the untalented, wannabe-gangsters producing useless, unoriginal music that the Blazin' Squad are.
