I love long live as well but was looking at it more from a technical aspect. Long live is not as complex musically as last kiss but again has some fantastic meaninful lyrics. Love the anthem feel of Long live, a bit like change a great rock song, shame she dont play change live that often.
Yes the only live one of Change I've seen is that CMT awards one which is great.

Long Live is a great sing along song, even if you were only hearing it for the first time you could sing a long with it.

With another album on the way, it will be interesting to see how she balances out songs off all the albums on tour in future.

That set she did at the sydney sound relief was so good and still one of my fav sets she has ever done live, it was very raw and real, just taylor and her band on a stage in front of a massive crowd.
Even all those years ago you could see what a force of nature was going to be unleashed on the music world

Hi guys, I'm a huge Taylor Fan also. Shame she isn't as big in the UK as she should be but she's great. Saw her at the 02 and was very impressed. Looking forward to the new album.

Some videos and that of taylor and james taylor, fire and rain, ours and love story. Love the bit in the middle of love story with Taylor and james jumping around. To have praise heeped on her by a legend like james taylor really must make taylor feel all her hard work is paying off, she is seriously becomig one of the most respected female singer songwriters in the business.

Its been out on blu ray since november, but personally I think the PQ and sound are crap. If you really are a high-def nut then your be really dissapointed with the PQ. The whole show looks upscaled with very little proper HD material.
Dont take no notice of the concert run time on the amazon website, the concert run time is about 2 hours 15 minutes (yep taylor does long concerts, one of her stadium gigs was over 2.5 hours) plus you get extras was well.

Right cheers, I must admit I didn't check on Amazon as when I ordered the normal DVD version I didn't see the Blu ray at the time.

Sounds like it's not worth it then.

It came out at the same time as the DVD I think, if you have the DVD then I dont see the point in wasting 18 quid on the blu ray. There are some close ups of taylor that look pretty good but overall its pretty lame and with a good blu ray player the DVD upscaled looks almost the same as the blu ray. I could hardly notice much difference between the DVD and blu ray when I compared them and any differences are certainly not worth forking out another 18 quid
Most of the stuff taylor does is fantastic but this live DVD/Blu ray is not one of them. I just hate the way that the majority of the concert was from a show that Paul Sidotti did not play on(familty death). Dissapointed that taylor allowed that to happen cant for the life if me understand it.

It's okay but hardly what you expect of a country artist... looking forward to hearing Red but with some trepidation

Worrying times? What evidence makes you think that? Sure she has released a very underwhelming, very different styled lead single but other than that there is no reason to be concerned as far as I can see. On the contrary I would suggest that these are extremely exciting times. At least 15 more songs to hear from ‘Red’, plus it won’t be far away until she is kicking up the promotion and announcing her biggest ever world tour!

Taylor has never let us down before on album strategy and I’m confident she isn’t going to this time. Roll on the ‘Red’ era!

If I remember correctly from the other thread, geordielady isn't happy about Taylor co-writing the majority of the album and/or using mainstream producers like Max Martin.

Spot on, many artsits have ruined their careers after doing this sort of thing. Avril Lavigne is one such artist that springs to mind.
