Is it possible to copy recorded items (on humax) to an itouch?

I imagine so for SD material. You will need to transfer it to a PC using a usb drive. You will then need software to convert the mpeg2 .ts file to the compressed format required by the itouch. A little googling should find loads of software that can do this

Which one?
Most seem to be for macs.
Others seem expensive.
Anyone know e free/cheap one for pc?
