The trouble with Brian is that he’s completely one-dimensional. He has one good quality: he‘s funny. Sadly, that’s ALL he is. Ask any of his fans why they like him: “he’s so funny,” they say. Ask what else they like about him: “well...he’s so funny.”

So strip away his funny bits and what’s left? Nothing. Is he interesting? No. Has he shown a kind, compassionate side? No. Is he interested in anything other than himself? No. Can he hold a reasonably intelligent conversation? No. Has he pulled his weight in the house? No.

When he stopped being funny, and people began to notice his shrill, vindictive, nasty side, his admirers quickly jumped in and reminded everyone how funny he HAD been.

So that’s it. He’s funny. And when he’s not funny, it’s okay because he used to be funny.

Personally, I’ll be glad to see the back of him.

You are so right, you've completely summed up Brian and the people that vote for him. From the start my favourite people were Helen and Brian but now I'm praying that Helen wins as Brian is not at all as deserving as everyone seems to think. Brian was really only funny when Narinder was in the house and he is a completely one dimensional person.

Completely agree.
If Big Brother was only 4 weeks long he probably would have won hands down. But since then the 'demons' 'evil' and general loudness has become more and more grating and annoying.
After voting against Helen during the first vote, I now would prefer her to win.
Nothing against Dean or Elizabeth, they just haven't entertained or amused enough.
Dean was quite funny early on and even he admitted today that he hasn't shown his real self, which I think is a pity, as a bit more funnier and flambouyant Dean could have been a strong contender for winner.
Helens personality has changed for the better (just) so she gets my vote.

The most annoying thing is his new phrase, "How rude", was funny the first time but now is absolutely infruriating.

I didn't like the way he was so stern and bossy to Helen when she reacted to the announcement of Elizabeth's eviction.

Haha, did you see the end of tonights eviction show, when they went back live for the credits, and H was in the process of COMPLETLY blowing Brian away, totally outsmarting him til he had nothing left to say

I really hope she wins this. Seen the poll on the official BB site? H has about 70pc of the votes!

what the hell are you all on about? Brian has no personality has he not. You think helen has? please explain to me what helens personality consists of because the only helen i have seen is the loud ,annoying, childish, thick, selfish, vain one.

take his funnyness away and what has he got? Brian seems to me to be a listener and has added to many an intelligent conversation. Helen isnt even funny, the only comedy she provides is when people laugh at her, not with her and in conversations, well what can i say, she destroys them, she would make a brilliant hairdresser, oh hang on she is a hairdresser, silly me.

Helen out witting Brian in an argument tonight? Helen couldnt outwit a lump of shite. If you had seen what was said before and after the little clip at the end of tonights show you would have found that Brian easily won that one, the only ammo that helen has in an argument is her massive gob.

it seems to me that people who like funny folk will obviously vote for brian and people who like loud simpletons and homophobic arseholes will vote for Helen, i will be voting for Dean but brian will obviously win it.

I am trying so hard not to lay reference to "RickIdiot" but I think the logon says it for me nicely

The originator of this thread really has summed him up nicely. When the defence wall of fun is taken away there is nothing. He has had a perfect chance to shine over the past few weeks but instead he has chosen to stay close to the two adults in the house and just join in on speaking down to the others.

Dont get me wrong, for the first few weeks he was great, a good laugh to watch. Unfortunately behind every laugh there were signs of nastiness. This was TOTALLY proven on thurs night when Liz was given the boot. Brian snapped at H in a way that showed his inner self, an inner self that had quite safely hidden behind humour.

It was a total joy to see H realize for once that she was in for a chance of winning the £70,000. Safe bet Liz was booted out and Brian realized that he had backed the wrong horse and he couldnt hide it from the TV. What we saw and heard was the REAL Brian, a nasty little boy begging the gay vote.

Who do I think

Brian: Good chance but after last nights reaction a bit iffy now.

Dean: Very slim, especially after the "I am better than everyone else" speech to Liz.

Helen: This is where my money is. Very dim and ignorant but also very WYSIWYG. No obvious plans just a simple Welsh girl having the time of her life. I would love to see her win just to see her face when she found out.

Enjoy the show

Did anyone notice how Helen has suddenly changed her role in the house from a child into the mother figure?.(well..for a while anyway
Compare her reaction to Narindas 'classic..'Crappy' argument, where Helen was acting like a child..('Ill bloody punch her I will'),
to the way she told Brian off after the Nomination. She was scolding him like a Mother scolds a naughty child, and it was great to watch her finding her assertivness after the last few days ,especially, of Brians bitchy remarks to her.
And she was right, FFS Brian, youve only got ONE day to go , whats all the moaning about man!. as Helen said Just Chill out and wait.

I really want Helen to win this, but being realistic she wont, Brian will. (unless there is a sudden last minite vote for Helen).

Dean is DEFINATLY out first today.

Helen is far more irritating and annoying than, Brian, he was right to slap her down when Elizabeth's eviction was announced as she reacted in her usual tactlessness!!

did she?.
When Elizabeth eviction was announced she said 'oh no..not Elizabeth'. yes,..she was excited, of course she was, shes in the last three for gods sakes. Brian just sat there whinging and moaning , and talking of leaving, Brian, there is only ONE day to go man!, as Helen said Chill ya boots and just look forward to today, because you ARE going to win it, much as I would Like Helen to, Brian will win..

Please do not reward stupidity ! Vote Brian not Helen

Helen cheated on her partner - Just because the girl on survivor did it doesn't make it OK in fact by voting against Helen I am making a stand for all males who have been dumped on

Her aim in life was to buy a Gucci handbag and shoes , well from the press reports Paul has already got her those so she no longer needs the money.

Yes, i agree, Brian is JUST funny, but for the weeks he has been on TV i think he has provided a lot of entertainment, and ok he might be a bit pathetic underneath... but this is TV after all and the funnyness has made watching Big Brother so enjoyable! Ah VOTE BRIAN!

Excellent. That's the phrase I've been looking for all week - "Helen having the time of her life".

Helen is being laughed at not with. Her amazing capacity for stupidity, (eg "I love blinking I do") is now starting to really annoy me and her childlike reaction to last night's eviction "my hair, my hair" and " Oh Elizabeth" has made me for one glad that BB2 ends tonight and the dim one can be sent back to the valleys.

Although the funny thing is that of the three left her future earning power is by far the most limited and therefore probably deserves the money. But I'm afraid I just couldn't bring myself to vote for someone who acts like she couldn't outwit a tellytubby.

I liked both Brian and Helen. But over the last few days Brian has became quite boring. I'd like Helen to win now.

BTW Take a look at ITV Text page 129 for some of Helens best lines, before they take it off

brian should win because:

If you had not voted out Bubble and Naz he would still be his happy funny self. It is your own fault for voting the best people out so early.

I also like Helen but i know if she wins she will say something stupid like what did i win.
