My sister met Ben at the airport today!

Just a funny thing I thought I'd post - my sister was flying Belfast to Stanstead today at lunch-time today - Ben was next to her at security, and she introduced herself.

She asked him what school he went to in NI (we're nosey like that over here!), and he told her he could not disclose that as he was 'sworn to secrecy'!

But then apparently he got on his mobile phone, and spoke ridiculously loudly, saying that Mona was a tosser for selling her story about Jordan!!

She said he was pleasant to her, but definitely still a little bit of a tw*t.

He's quite typical of the breed

What a tw*t for saying he was 'sworn to secrecy' on the school thing. It's totally irrelevant and not difficult to find out if you want.

Unless Campbell are bribing him to keep it quiet as they don't want to be represented by the likes of Ben. Image is bad enough as it is.

The only shocking thing about the encounter is that she assures me he is very good-looking in the flesh!

Oh I would agree! Went to BRA and hated every minute - the funny thing is my sister was over from England for a night, just to attend an old school reunion!

We've beat them before and we'll beat them again.
To Pirrie they come and they fall
Then back to their home ground they crawl.....#

Maybe he has a 'magazine deal'

More likely to be that Campbell have totally disowned him.....

Oh I know - I found that hard to believe too! - she also said he was all scruffed up and casual as if to eschew his new found celebrity - but apparently he sounds like a right old country bumpkin as well!!

(Apologies to all country bumpkins!)

Maybe his army training taught him how to travel incognito -but evidently it didn't work.

Can't see him as an INST boy.

If he lived in Cherryvelley, that would definitely make him a Campbell youth.

Maybe Sullivan Upper? (Does that even exist anymore?)

No.

Filming finished months ago and the candidates are then able to live normal lives. Even those working for AS are, I believe, allowed to visit friends and relatives every now and again.

Not really. They can't be kept under lock and key. Kate, who is like Ben, still in the competition is very high profile with pap and tabloid stories for several weeks now.

No unfortunately Campbell have already admitted to "owning" him........

Dunno if Sullivan is still there - wasn't it more out Holywood/ Bangor way????

He sounds like I imagined him really, how funny. Essentially harmless, but a complete tw*t.

Hee Hee! I know - apparently my sister told him he was the most famous person she'd ever met (Goodness she must have been on top form that day!), but he was quite shy and modest about that and said he wouldn't call himself famous at all - quite sweet really.

Actually that is quite sweet, I shouldn't be too harsh. But I am imagining the scene. 'Oh no, I am not famous, little old me?' Turns and starts yelling in his phone about story selling and Jordan.
