So Britain's Got Talent is over for another year, and again, my favourite contestant never reached the top three.
I thought Aidan was very, very good last night. I'll be totally honest here; I did prefer the semi-final performance. I think the two performances were quite similair and thus, people were left feeling dissapointed. However, considering that Aidan had a performance on Friday night and only had 24 hours to rehearse for the final, I think he did a fantastic job and should be appluaded. Simon's comments towards him were honest and I don't hold any grudges against him, however I do think Simon should have cut Aidan some slack considering the circumstances. My heart broke when Aidan broke down and I felt absolutely awful for him. You can tell he really wanted it, and I got a bit upset myself when he started crying.

Dec was fantastic with him, though.
I honestly thought Aidan would have, at least, reached the top three and was pretty suprised/gutted when he wasn't. I voted lots! Still, i'm sure he has a bright future ahead of him.
Very talented and likeable young man.
