The n96 is indeed pretty slow, my mates got one and never stops whining about it. It's a really dissapointing successor to the N95 (which I have, and love). The Tocco Ultra would seem a better bet as long as you don't need a Smartphone. Looks a lot nicer too! Bear in mind there are loads of really promising phones coming soon (possible new iPhone, N97, Palm Pre, etc).

Thnkyou so much for your reply. Ive been reasearching phones all morning and have now 100% decided on the Samsung Omnia HD - rang my provider who say they will do a deal for my loyalty but not until im due the upgrade which is Friday.

Im with Orange and looking at their site it seems they will charge me 95 quid to upgrade but you can get the phone for free going through Phones 4 U, that is staying with Orange network work that out!

I shall see if i can beat them down

Good choice, hell of a spec on that beast. Hope you get a good deal. i'm not due an upgrade for another couple of months, and I think it's going to be a difficult decision by then.
