I tried Gently to watch a recording
At about 7.55 I went to my outstanding recordings to watch last week's episode of George Gently (HD). The timer was set to record the current episode due 8.30 and Heartbeat ( for SWMBO
) due 8.00. I turned on TV and brought the PVR out of standby, then selected the recording. There was a lot of flickering and two identical pictures of bad quality appeared, one on the left of the screen and the other on the right with a small gap between them. I tried various button presses but lastly resorted to HDMI plug pulling and inserting. Was it my actions that caused the event, or a bug, and if my fault, how do I do what I wanted to achieve without the same happening again? |

We sat down to watch the latest 17/05/2009 episode of George Gently which stopped after just 65 minutes. No errors or any other explanation it just seems to have recorded with the wrong stop time. Now I will have to grab a download off iPlayer or elsewhere to watch the end of the episode.
