Mum needs a new PAYG phone
She went into a shop the other day and tried to ask for some advice on the questions she is now insisting i ask you all about (she won't buy it if she isn't sure) and she says they were less than helpful when she told them she wasn't interested in paying a small fortune. pfft.
Basically, she has recently switched to ASDA Mobile PAYG but her current phone is on its last legs and she needs a new cheap PAYG phone to replace it. Mobile phones have never been an area which i've properly understood so i can't be sure what i'm telling her is right. I've told her its possible to unlock phones but i think she would rather not have the hassle or any possible cost. I've been told there is one particular shop on the high street who's instoor phones are actually sold unlocked. Is this true? Or is she just going to have to get one locked to a different network and unlock it? Also she isn't pleased about having to buy airtime on a sim she isn't planning on using. Is there any way around this? |
