Hiya folks,

I have just preordered the new Marilyn Manson album "High End Of Low", which is due for release on May 25th.

Which other beautiful people are getting the new album ?

I need to listen to it first before buying, I just heard the single a few days ago and it's incredibly shit, if the rest of the album is like it, then it's a no no for me.

I haven't cared about Manson for years, but I did tell myself I'd give this album a chance at some point, since Twiggy came back and all.

I'll buy it- I've taken bigger risks with albums (I bought the latest Dir en Grey one, and they change their genre more often than their pants, and have recently been sporting a nu-metal sound I'm not the keen on) but I have to say I hope this new one goes back a bit to their older stuff. I mean, Eat Me Drink Me wasn't that bad, but once is enough. Really.

Yep, the return of Twiggy is definitely a good sign.

heard one track a few weeks ago, was brilliant. Now that Twiggy Ramirez is back, hopefully Marilyn will be back to his bad old self.

Since I wrote this I stumbled across it online () and gave it a listen. I actually really like a lot of it so far. I'll listen to it properly when I buy it though, I just had a quick skim through.

I thought the last two albums were utter crap, but I actually think I'm gonna like this one.

I'm listening to it now and I can't say it's particularly grabbed me.

Too many "slow" songs for my liking - nothing in the "Mobscene" or "Disposable Teens" arena.

I'll stick it on the ipod though and give it a proper listen over the next few days.

****ing love Mechnical Animals, Holy Wood and Golden Age. Not sure about the bulk of the others... 'Arma' sounds pretty cool and it's MM so I'll of course give it a listen but I can't imagine it becoming a favourite... we'll see.

Think it's the best thing he's done since "Holy Wood", to be honest... Running To The Edge Of The World and Blank And White are the standout tracks for me so far.

It's still no "Mechanical Animals", but I guess you can only do something that awesome once!

It's probably their weakest album in my eyes, can't even remember the one before it, it was that good... Golden Age of Grotesque was the last album I bought from the band. Haven't wasted money on the new one, listened to it online, so saved some money there.
