I'm in need of a new mobile phone. I've got an iPod Touch so don't want a new iPhone or to join O2 for that matter.

What I want, though, is a phone that has a good browser, like the iPhone's. A good browser and decent battery life. Essentially, I want an iPhone but I don't want something that big as my phone so can I get some advice from people who actually have the phones as to which one has a good browser.

I've previously used the Nokia 95 browser which was ok and the Sony C902 which was a little worse. I want better than both.

Thanks.

Another vote for Opera Mini here, working brilliantly on the Sony Ericsson C510.

I tried Opera Mini on my n95 8gb and to me it seemed rather clunky compared to the default browser. I'm willing to try it again on the n97 when it eventually arrives.

Ive had numerous phones over the last 6 7 months, including n96, iphone, n95 8gb, se xperia x1, se c905 and just recently the Nokia e71. And the e71 beats everything in terms of practicality and price, i prefer the qwerty keypad compared to the x1 or iphone for that matter, having said that iphone touch screen does come in handy for web browsing sometimes.

You people make me laugh lol Opera Mini, are you having a laugh, yes its good if you just want to browse, but Opera Mobile (can get it free) and SkyFire are the best. Opera Mobile isny fully compatible with the E71 so I had to use skyfire, and honestly I can play every flash video there is. Full stop, youtube, bbc iplayer, channel 4, even all the adult sites

Basically skyfire, its free too, if not get opera mobile (free if you can find it) then opera mini.

1. Skyfire
2. Opera Mobile
3. Opera mini

Seriously I cannot recommend skyfire enough, its like better then my cousins internet explorer on his desktop.
