Oh me too. I felt pathetic but I could feel my throat a-lumpifyin' when he welled up and started shaking his head - despite all the scorn I'd poured upon his daft wombat head throughout the series. What can I say, I'm a wimp.

He had had a shave last night, so it must be Sandhurst.

I'm not denying he's a nob, but he's a nob in that young, bounderish, 'I think I'm King of the world, but only because life hasn't kneed me in the balls yet' kind of way. I wouldn't be surprised if in a few years he turned into a thoroughly nice bloke.

'Sandhurst' became the 'But I'm only 24' of this series. But I thought Ben was a lot more likeable than Alex.”

This, exactly. All of it! I really disliked him at first but when we saw more of him I realised he was just immature and arrogant, not actually malicious in any way. I think he's basically sound but slightly silly. He made me cringe to watch though. I spend a lot of my Apprentice watching time shouting "SHUT UP BEN" and "SHUT UP LORRAINE" even though I like Lorraine and didn't really mind Ben.

I didn't realsie he was only 22. He should have gone earlier really especially as Rocky went for being 'not ready'.

Clearly he used forced and bluster to cover up inexperience and you have to feel sorry for him after the facade fell apart when he went.

My teenage son and his friends think Ben was the best by miles. Not sure what that says really?
