They should go back to what they were best at, being a John Lennon tribute band.

I enjoyed everything up to (and including!) Be Here Now, didn't like Standing on the Shoulders of Giants, and haven't bought anything since. I've liked a few of their songs since, and really like that 'Fallin' Down' one. I don't think they've lost it, they're just not as exciting as they were in the 90's.

Yes & No

As a live band they are miles better than they used to be but as song-writers I think their best days are behind them

I wouldn't say they've past it. Thought their last record was their best since Morning Glory.

No, you're right, they were only Britain's biggest band of the 90's.

It's been said before and its prob FACT no bands first 2 albums were as good as oasis's including the beatles

with all the fame, sucess and godworthy talent there had to be a come down, you've got to look at their new stuff (which is really good in todays "scouting for girls" standards) and not their old

Their a completley different band (their not pop anymore) and as noel has said i think it would be a good idea if they went away for about 5 years and come back with lots of demo's to choose from

OASIS FAN RANT OVER

i used to like oasis, but only because i got caught up in all the britpop hysteria of the mid-90's

in the cold light of day, i find noel a very limited songwriter, his technical ability is guitar strumming at it's most simple, the riffs basic and uninspired and the lyrics a bit embarrassing.

and liam! for the love of god, that man ought to thank his lucky stars for what has happened to him, because it wasn't through talent, or likeability, or style

I think they should've split when the others left, bonehead etc... Noel should've gone solo and Liam should've gone to Beverly hills and lived the life of someone who used to be famous.

Along with the spice girls, both talentless.

Since when is talent measured by popularity ?

I loved the Definately Maybe, What's The Story and Heathen Chemistry, however I've not been a great fan of their last two albums.

I'd really like to see Noel do a solo album, I heard a few years back he'd done a vocal version of Wonderwall which I'd really like to hear.

This is Noel Gallgher singing Wonderwall. His version is brilliant!

Oasis past it? Nope, not by a long shot, they still have one more great album in them

The Beatles were popular. . .so that makes them keck?

Go back to your Pokéball please and stop spouting complete nonsense of the highest order.

I'm a huge fan of Oasis and don't believe they've past it.

I love all their albums and despise narrow-minded people who spout crap about them being past it in the media when they haven't even listened to all the albums.

It was cool to slag Oasis off during their wain in popularity but listen to the albums and they're not as bad as they were made out to be.

One of their best songs, Gas Panic! can be found on Standing on the shoulder of giants. Their latest album is my 2nd favourite after What's The Story.

Their recent album is decent, but nothing amazing. I love the first two Oasis albums, of course, but actually think that Don't Believe The Truth is a brilliant album and may actually be my favourite of theirs

Their first two albums were legendary, I dont think they will ever top that, but their latest album was really good the best thing they have put out since what's the story. So no they are not what they were but they have got back onto a good track.

The Beatles had talent though.

Oasis are nothing more than a crap rip off.

Personally, I thought they owed more to The Jam, and The Who, than they did to The Beatles.

Maybe Liam's voice is not as good as it was but as a band they are much better live now. They are more oganised and Andy Bell and Gem are better musicians than Bonehead and Guigsy were.

The quality of writing and songs is fantastic.
