Sir Alan Sugar. Love him or loathe him??

Do you think Sir Alan makes the right decisions when he fires candidates, or do you see him as a corporate bully who has motives for keeping people on such as Lorraine? I like Sir Alan on the whole and think he makes the right decisions a lot of the time but sometimes he does make the wrong decision when either keeping people on or firing them.

Do you think Sir Alan is a good business mogul or not?

I think Sir Alan is very unprofessional and rude in the BR (granted it is an entertainment program) and Amstrad to me equals naff products and poor quality so I don't rate him tbh.

I'm very fond of him and I always like him when I see him in interviews, where he seems much softer than his boardroom persona. I don't know enough about Amstrad to comment on that. I often disagree with his choice of firing, but that's understandable since he hasn't observed the task or watched the edited programme and I haven't heard the advice Margaret and Nick are giving him. It is an incredibly stupid way of running a job interview and I don't believe that the best candidate tends to win, but it's gripping TV.

I wonder if Alan is putting on that boardroom persona and in reality is more gentle with his staff away from the TV cameras.

Amstrad has been going on for many years though.

He is a strange little man and does come across as very sharp and well informed. But I think he is always quite fair in the boardroom although he is rude at times and shouldn't swear so much then expect them to still address him by his title "Sir" Alan. He appears to be a stubborn man and keeps the candidates who are the most ruthless and challenging whether they are likable or not.

Debra should have gone this week but maybe he has kept her to rattle the cages of some of the quieter candidates.
