The Samsung J700 is compatible to send & receive MMS. You may need to ensure that the handset has the correct settings installed before you are able to do this.

Vodafone MMS Settings from www.filesaveas,com are -
Access Point Name: wap.vodafone.co.uk
Username: wap
Password: wap
Authentication: Normal
Data bearer: GPRS
Gateway IP (proxy) address: 212.183.137.12
Session mode: Permanent
Port number: 9201
MMS Message (Relay) Server URL: http://mms.vodafone.co.uk/servlets/mms/

You will also need the GPRS settings as well. There are 2 different sets of GPRS settings available from www.filesaveas.com. As I'm not sure which you need, so I'd recommend contacting their customer service on 191 on your mobile phone. Hope this helps.
