PAYG Sim registration - how long should it take?

I got a set of free Orange sims through the post yesterday and registed one one the web with the address given - http://orange.co.uk/getmestarted

I put in all my details and chose my animal and it said I was all done and may need to wait up to 24 hours for it to be active.

It's been about 20 hours since then and when I put the Sim in my phone it just says 'SIM Registration Failed' and I can't create an Orange account on their website as they are typically having 'technical difficulties'.

Should I be worried? I don't know what to do?

Call 0800 079 0027. That is the Registrations team and they should be abl to help you.

Yes, that's a much quicker way of doing it. You might have to learn Urdu first though, and they will want to know all of your business when you register!

I rang them and the sim is now registered and I can call the number, however the free £1 I was meant to get seems not to be on???

When I try to call it says talk time or something isn't on my account and I can't send texts.

Should I go and top-up or leave it a day to see what happens?
