Hi I think the buggy last night was really good. Does anyone know what make/model it was?

That means the independent stall next door to Lorraine`s must have been giving the thing away for £100....Lorraine`s deal of £135 does`t seem too bad if it`s being sold for £159 in the shops and on the net.

That was a launch price, but unlike Debra, you could try negotiating a bit.

Its almost a shame I don't want any more children, and I'm too old for any more anyway!

Mind you I'm 20 years younger than the oldest woman in Britain to get pregnant!

It gets worse....selling price from £125 to £175.....how was the trader next door to Lorraine able to sell the thing for £100???.....as I said in my previous post, they must have been almost giving the thing away.I`d love to know what the whole sale-price from the manufacture was

It is a new concept in a crowded market (as Sugar mentioned). To attract attention at shows, you discount heavily, so it hits the streets and word goes round the mummies. The independent probably took more.

VAT is not chargeable on items sold at shows.

It's not a great buggy. I've just got back from Florida with two babies and buggies were essential esp ones that folded small and quick. The best one was $15 from Walmart - yes $15!!! Forget thse gimmicks. they are a wate of time

I was just making the point that the apprentice buggy was positioning itself as a great buggy for use when travelling. And yes it does fold neatly! But I've just got back from Florida with a 2 yr old and an 11 month old, and obviously a buggy was key, which was light, easy and quick to fold to get on and off trains and monorails to get to the parks etc...

The best we found was a simple buggy for $15 in walmarts (us store) - a bit like the ones you get for £30-40 in mothercare here.... yes they are not ones for daily use at home, but as a travel buggy they were fab.
