SE W580i & PC Suite help needed

My daughter has a W580i with loads of photos on it!

I have downloaded the pc suite and that is there. I plug the phone in and choose "phone mode" then open pc suite and nothing in there works. I had thought you had to choose editor on the left and then file but that does not do anything.

How do we transfer the pics to her laptop?

Do yourself a favour and download myphoneexplorer , it works with Sony Erricson phones and once connected up is pretty straightforward , plus it's free
