I would say 'I believe in a thing called love' by the darkness which has been huge in the uk.

But I am quite bored with this track because it was overplayed. My personal record of the year would be 'time is running out' by Muse.

Darkness weren't even nominated, so you couldn't vote for them. ”

A very good point, yes. Thank you, I forgot about that.

Queens of the Stone Age - No one knows”

Was that this year?

If it was then I change my vote to QOTSA too. Although the album is bloody dreadful.

John Doe -

I'm quite sure that it was this year. I only got into them this year. Some of the Songs for Deaf album is good, but I agree some is a little off.

Have you heard their second album - R - Rated - it's very good, I'd say as good if not better than songs for the deaf.

Here are a few songs that I think should be True record of the year.

Coldplay - Clocks / The scientist
Radiohead - There There
The darkness - I believe in a thing called love
Black Eyed Peas - Where is the love
