I was at that gig, and have to say it was pretty fantastic. However I have been to a lot of others, including The Who at hammersmith ODEON in the 70's before Keith and John's untimely deaths. And they were brilliant.

I saw The Who back then, and have never seen better live.

I haven't seen Muse live myself, but my brother has seen Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Led Zeppelin, amongst others - and he said this concert was better than anything he's ever been to.

Im a huge Muse fan, and I'd say there right up there with the likes of Springsteen, Queen, Zeppelin, Hendrix, The Who, RATM, etc etc.

Agreed. Springsteen & The E Street can rock the socks off any band on the planet and they're all in their late 50's or into their 60's.

I was at the gig too and sorry to sound like a mardy bum but the sound was terrible where I was The visuals and lights were amazing but I just felt the stadium was far too big for them. I've seen them in much smaller venues - the Albert Hall gig was the best I've ever seen them.

I don't know about best live band ever (although they are my favourite band)

Going to see them when they support U2 and that should be interesting

Muse were very good at Wembley but, as Wemster says, where we were stood the sound was terrible.

It's always difficult I think to say who is the best as it's very much a subjective argument.

For me the best band I've ever seen live is Pink Floyd but then I've also seen many other really great live bands.

I was hoping to catch Muse at V Festival last year.

But I went home early because it was muddy and I'd drunk 10 pints of Carling Black Label.

That's the best way to watch bands at V Fest! Muse, Mud and Carling - sounds like a great evening!

Obviously it's subjective and opinion and bla bla bla...
But yes, Muse are definitely the best live band I've ever seen (once indoors twice outdoors). I know a few people who think they are a rather mediocre band and I always say to them, 'Judge after you've seen them live!'. It really is a spectacular show.
