what am I doing wrong?

Hi I have a Samsung M110 digital camera. The photos I take look fine ON the camera but when I transfer them to my Pc either using a usb cable or memory card half of them have a dark horizontal band from the bottom of the picture to about a third of the way up. I cannot print them this way so what am I doing wrong? It makes no difference if they are indoor or outdoor shots. The camera is set at 'auto'. I would welcome some advice.

If the photo's look fine on the camera's lcd then it's possibly an issue with the memory card when saving the pics. Try formatting the card from within the camera to wipe it completely.

Is it possible for you to try a different PC just to rule that out?
