Not all channels available
Hi all,
Just bought a Foxsat HDR and all is well except not all channels are available. I have an old dish and lnb which I used with and Echostar stb. I will need a new dual or quad lnb but I can't receive the following channels: - CNN 12051V QVC 12032H Zone Reality 12523V Zone Thriller 12560V Zone Horror +1 11222H BBC News 111954H BBC Parliament 11954H Euronews 12560V Wedding +1 B4U Musi 12129V As far as I can tell all other (major channels) are ok. Could it be an LNB fault? Thanks Stroggoff |

Thanks for your reply grahamlthompson,
I'm hoping the cable is OK as am receiving a very high signal strength & quality (I have a 1 mtr dish) An recommendations on the best lnb to go for anyone? Is it still better to buy a quad even if I will only use two connections? Thanks Stroggoff |

I've been looking for quad lnbs and the specs suggest mine is stuck in low band
Input Low Band: 10.7 - 11.7 GHz Input High Band: 11.7 - 12.75 GHz Does / should the HDR switch the lnb automatically? |

Thanks Stroggoff Twin: http://www.satellitesuperstore.com/t...m#titaniumtwin Quad: http://www.satellitesuperstore.com/q...m#titaniumquad I'd get the quad as it leaves you options if you ever decide to add another box. BTW if you buy the older Titanium 0.2db quad like mine, (further down quad page) its been reduced to £24.99. Ideal if you want to save that extra £15, if not, and want a bit extra performance, get the 0.1db. Somehow, on 1 metre dish I doubt you'll notice the difference as you're already overspecced if in the UK. |
