Creative Zen Question

Ive just bought a 16gb creative zen. So far ive put 67 albums on with no problems until now. The last couple of albums ive added have registered on the player as unknown instead of copying the albums title/artist. Can anyone enlighten me to why this is happening? The music plays fine but i just cant find a way of renaming the tracks once theyve been added. Most of the added music has been converted from vinyl and the rest ripped in from cd,s. My old 1gb zen was fine you only had to open the music file right click the folder and rename, that dosent work with the new one, ripping from cd,s is still fine but copying converted files seem the problem even though ive over 40 of these already loaded and the titles are displayed fine. Ive heard about mp3 tagging but dont really understand it, can anyone offer a bit of advice please as im not that up on this kind of stuff. Thanks very much.

I haven't had this problem, but you can rename them using the Media Organizer software.

Yep - was going to suggest that. My Zen sometimes doesn't reognise the tracks. I always use it with Windows media Player. I find that you need to go into edit on the track title and artist in your media library to rename. Difficult to explain but don't rename it using the artist and album title next to where the album cover art appears but each track as you look down the list of tracks

Yep, I usually just rename them from the media organizer. You can do the search function and select them all and rename album or artist for many tracks at once too.
