Kimera - The Lost Opera
koantemplation

Has anyone else heard this album?

It was released in 1985 as 'Hits on Opera) (although I've since found out it was first release as 'The Lost Opera') and feature opera songs to a techno type backing track, in a similar vain to 'The Opera Song' by Charlotte Church.

I've been trying to find it for ages and managed to get hold of it over the weekend, and it still sounds as good as when I first heard it.

'The Flower Duet' sounds really good with a beat.

Blimey. There's one I'd forgotten all about. I'm sure there was a single that came out that received somewhat limited airplay.

Yes there was a single that was similar to the 'Hooked on Classics' single, it feature a medley of songs from the album.

The 2002 rerelease has 3 different versions of the single.

Looks like it is just us 2 who remember it.
