I wouldn't buy her album because it's not my type of music if she did a duet say with Metalica or Pantera then maybe

I don't believe those figures for a second.

Obviously they have no taste - I am amazed at the hype surrounding a woman who at best is an average singer. It appeared last night that she also seems to be immune from criticism from the judges - there were plenty bum notes they could have pulled her up on but they never, and all the time she stand there blowing kisses to the crowd as if she were Maria Callas. Dear me.

Let them buy it then. I just hope she moves out there soon after the final. Us Brits aren't stupid.

Hmmmm. Didn't they also vote Bush in for a 2nd term...

Why must you be so harsh about a singer you are not too keen on?

I don't understand people claiming 'us Brits' are immune to the Susan Boyle hype. What a load of rubbish. Who won the public vote last night? Whose performance saw the show's audience peak at 13.3 million viewers?

Certainly wasn't Diversity.

I'll certainly buy a few from the Bargain Bin in 12 months time, if I'm in need of some coasters.

Susan's album will sell like hot-cakes here too. Could be the year's best-selling album!

If I was Susan Boyle I'd have forgotten about BGT, got myself over to America, met with a producer over there and brought out an album. If she is as popular as this, someone would instantly sign her. Plus, I'm really starting to loose faith in Simon Cowell's ability to make people stars.

To be fair this is fox news viewers we are talking about! not exactly the brain trust are they? (Barack 'Husein' Obama is a muslim! George W Bush kept our country safe by bombing Iraqi school children! etc. etc.)

You are quite right crazychris Susans album would fly off the shelves over here, probably would be the same percentage as the US 76% would buy a Susan album in the UK.

It said somewhere that she had 75% of last night show vote as well.

The production quality of her album will make her sound like Elaine Paige, so it would be worth buying.
