Which is better? Are ther any differences except for the keyboard?

I think they are both quad band so does that mean it will work on the '3' network too?

the google phone is currently only available on T-Mobile and is quadband, if you wish to have this work on 3 network (god knows why anyone would use 3 lol) then the phone would firstly need unlocking.

EDIT: HTC Magic is only on vodafone

The HTC magic is currently only available on Vodafone (apparently they have a 3 month exclusive on it) however Vodafone do not lock contact handsets so it can and does work on other networks.
