Are there any fans here? I think she's amazing. Her new album Abnormally Attracted to Sin is great. It's not that different from her other albums, but if you like her style you will love it.
Also, she's a fantastic live performer and will be touring this summer.

I heard "Give" in HMV yesterday and really liked it. I'll check out the album.

yep the new album is good...mix of venus and scarlets walk......some stellar tracks [Give, England, Maybe California, Oscars Theme, Not Dying Today (a happy and upbeat song!), Abnormally] ...but as an album i think i prefer ADP..somehow it seems a little too long and is taking me a little longer to get into. I think it could be a grower...as Tori herself said that she has gone out of her way to use unusual chords patterns.....and maybe thats why...

Yeah, Tori's awesome.. Haven't heard the new album in full yet, but I'm really liking "Curtain Call" at the moment.

I love both ADP and the new album.

Im not sure if they can really be compared as theyre both quite different.

I see AATS as an album of 2 halves. 1 half has that amazing Choirgirl/Venus vibe we've been wanting to hear again for a while - and the 2nd half has that sort of Country/Musical vibe that shes been experimenting with recently.

These 2 styles are sort of interweaved throughout the album which is why many reviews say its not very cohesive and quite exhaustive.

I still think this album has some of her best written songs.

'Curtain Call' & 'Flavor' are just outstanding.

'Welcome To England, 'Fast Horse', 'That Guy' and 'Starling' are also highly pleasing.

Its reached a respectable #20 in the UK charts (her highest position since 'Strange Little Girls' in 2001 which reached #16.)

I still dont think this album will get the credit it deserves, maybe it will get a second wind when she starts touring.

Big big fan
My favourite albums are Little Earthquakes, Choirgirl..., Venus..., & Scarlet's Walk. I quite like her newer stuff, but nowhere near as much as the eras the above albums were from. However I do prefer the new album to Beekeeper and American Doll Posse.
Just got my Hammersmith tickets this morning

Got a ticket for Glasgow today

New album is ok. Has some stunning tracks on, but it would have been better as a 12/13 song album. It's over-long.

She needs to realise that this "B-sides are dead" shit she's spouting, is just nonsense...
