Hey guys,

Just a little advice needed if anyone can help.

I took out a new contract with Vodafone through Phones 4 U in Jan this year. I was given a Samsung J700 (I think)

Anyway, the phone has now died. (It keeps saying to charge battery when it's fully charged & wont work because it says it flat)

I can't find any of my original paperwork from Phones 4 U & I don't have phone insurance. However, my view is that I should still be on their system & they could find me that way.

Should they take the phone back & fix it or swap for another one as it's on a few months old?

I'll be going into town late this week so I will take it in but I was wondering if any of you kind folks could give me an idea of what they may say!

Thanks

Hi,

Was this a deal taken in store, online or over the telephone?
Either way, you will be able to book a repair in store.

HOWEVER, as the store staff are scheisters, they may tell you to call customer service if it was a phone / online deal.
If they do, remain calm and polite and ask to use their in store phone as you may have to queue a while.
Customer services will then book you in for a repair.

You will be without the handset for about 5 working days (all being well) and unfortunately, you dont get a loan phone.
However, if this is important, buy a cheap PAYG (range from £10) to keep as a spare handset for this and future emergencies.

In relation to you mislaying the paper work, they will be able to find you via postcode, mobile number and even name (just hope your surname is not Jones! )

Regards,

If I know P4U, they'll just refer you to Samsung. You're far better of avoiding P4U and going direct to Samsung.
