basically my mum is a bit of a clean freak so ive never really been *allowed* to do any cooking for fear ill mess the kitchen
understanably [sp?] this has left me a rubbish cook, now she will be going away for a week in july and ill be in charge of cooking for 4 people. whats some easy dishes i can do [i know how to use the oven, grill etc] im good at anything involving mince but spag bol and chilli all week will be boring!! thanks x |

How about some veggie sausages
Seriously, how about chicken thighs/legs? Make a spanish tomato sauce. Fry onion and garlic and red pepper gently, add tin chopped tomatoes, bit of water, puree and basil s+p cook for ten minutes. Pour over the chick and in oven for an hour. Serve with rice or potatoes. |

Or keeping with the Mince thing - get some Lamb Mince and do a Sherpherds Pie. Gary Rhodes recipe is probably one of the around, but i can't seem to find a link for it.
