Tonight's his night.
The 12 year old Mini Micheal Jackson.

He first wowed us with 'Who's loving you?' after Simon made him change his song from 'Valerie'

Who else is supporting him?

I like the boy but realizing he's a professional actor/singer I've gone right off him. I thought these shows were about finding undiscovered talent.

There's nothing stopping him and in any case he is pretty damn good... Hope he wins, he's technically way more secure than the over-rated Susan.

To be honest you'd really have to have seen that thriller live thing to work out who he is anyway.

I'd quite like to see him sing something which he hasn't been coached to sing on thriller though, provided it isn't too low for him of course, he's a boy of 12 and his voice is high so what's the point of singing something like Valerie, which doesn't fit his range as well (though he could sing it, in the sense it was in tune and he understood it).

On his performance, I think he should be the winner.

But there are always other factors in play on BGT, so I don't think he will actually win.

He's clearly the best of the singers, but we all know Boyle would be more of a fairy tale than a boy who has attended a highly regarded stage school since the age of five and been well coached... also, Cowell will probably be able to sign Susan Boyle but Shaheen could probably get a recording deal through the stage school...

He seems like a level headed, intelligent, popular young lad though, regardless of whether or not he wins he will probably make it in whatever career he chooses, but then again, we know the media and BGT can twist things. He certainly doesn't appear like a stage school brat, but then he is older than the other stage school kids this year so you would expect him to be more mature, 12 is young but not small child territory.

I think honestly, he is Susan's only threat.

He's almost a dead cert for the final tonight.

Wonder what he'll sing?

I just hope they haven't given him a duff song like they did Natalie.

That's an interesting point you make about the stage school - I wonder whether Simon would be able to get full control of a kid who is still at stage school, whether the school itself has any say in what happens, or whether the kid would have to drop out to do the whole Simon Cowell discovery thing. I can see that there are a few hurdles here that Simon would maybe be happy to avoid.

He's great and will be through on the public vote tonight but won't beat Susan.

I think he could be a threat to Susan.
She wasn't as good on the live show as she was in her audition was she?
It's the media attention thats got her so far.

Yes, Shaheen is stage school trained, and was in Thriller Live.. but I hadn't even heard of it, many people HAVEN'T.
So what about stage school? Loads of kids go, it's not shocking.
Even if they don't go to stage school, loads of kids who have the confidence and attitude to go for something like BGT are stage school trained.

Really looking forward to his performance

Yeah I agree with you.
Hm.. thats interesting about Simon. I'm sure Simon will be gagging to sign him for something.
If the media weren't so focused on Susan Boyle, he might have a chance.

He seems really level headed, and not a brat.

He was very good. Wasn't keen on the song, however.

He's through to the final anyway.

Well done for getting through.

Some of the comments 'out there' are pretty sad.

They are, but he wasn't as good - sounded like he had a sore throat or something, he could hardly talk (but he can sing, you get trained how to do that).

Needs to get some lemsip and rest for the final I think.

Makes me wonder if he's got a really big number saved up for the final.

I hope so!
