Who is in charge of grouping the contestants?

Into which day they will be on?
Because they need to be sacked at the end of this series..
On Sunday night we had..Susan Boyle, Natalie, Diversity, Faces of disco - who all could of been in the final.
The last couple of days have been filled up with rubbish as is tomorrows line up..But Fridays line up has 4 acts who I believe should be in the final
Hollie Steel
Greg Pritchard
Aidan Davis
Good Evans

I'm also annoyed at this.

Five good acts on Sunday (Sue, Faces of Disco, Susan, Diversity, Natalie, four good acts on Friday (Good Evans, Gregg, Aidan, Hollie) and yet tons of piss acts on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Tuesday and Thursday have cr*p acts. Friday has too many good acts, have no idea who will get through.

I think they did it to add more variety to the final, personally.

The last thing we need is another singer in the final.

Wouldn't class the three qualifying singers particluarly outstanding so far, so Nat could have gone through.

If I was a producer, i'd have been so tempted just to go ahead and create a talented-kids-supergroup: Stick Natalie, Hollie, Callum, Shaheen and Elliott Evans on as one act. That would have cut down on the over-abundance of singing acts and lessened the pressure on young performers.

Two more singers will probably win through to Saturday's final.Hollie and Greg I think.

Dangerous talk, intelligence is not the producers forte.
Quick media buck no long term.

Quaint & a rather paternal idea that could work

Oh, I don't know: I think a group could actually have more longevity than the individuals. And it would be more flexible - allow for changes in the sound as they developed.

(I'm dying to hear what Elliott sounds like now his voice has broken - could be interesting!)

Do you think Peter Fincham has to bow when Simon enters a room?

Yeah they gotta have some crappier acts in the finale so that you can have one make second place and make sure who they want to be winner gets the votes ... that and making sure there is a mixture of singing/dance/variety or it would just look like an X-Factor finale

Ratings my friend, ratings! Sunday good ratings/viewing figures. Midweek bad ratings/viewing figures. Thursday and Friday, better ratings/viewing figures. Saturday?

FINAL!

Annoying but true, I think.

I totally agree. The pressure is on for the judges to put through something other than singers, dancers and male acts into the final.

I liked Greg, the counter-tenor. I have met this lovely lad a few years ago in Usk and had absolutely no idea that he could sing. Not just because of that but I think he has an extraordinary talent and I want him to be in the final.
I wish he had and the lovely Hollie could have been in earlier semi finals. Aidan Davis is a little star and surely he will be going into the final.

Tonight's line-up only offers the marvellous saxophonist Julian Smith who in my opinion will cruise into the final. I don't know who my second choice will be.

Hmm - so Simon should sack himself. Interesting theory which sadly won't come to pass.

BGT is all about Simon doing his best to ensure that the person he can make most money out of - in this case, SB - wins.

And that, I'm sorry to say for all those investing in other contestants, is all there is to it at the end of the day.
