Thats what they should re-name the program to now because thats all it seems to be about.
The judges keep saying you have sheer talent to these singing dancing acts but it's really nothing to shout home about and unless the royal variety performance has dramatically changed it's usually a mix of acts IE magicians comedians and of course singers and dancers so why would BGT put more dancers and singers through than other acts for a show that ultimately has dance and singers anyway mare variety is needed which they had in the auditions but never put them through to the semi's.
Also i really think they should slap an age restriction of 16 or at the very least 14 because the amount of kids that have got through this year is a joke and when they get sent home they break down in tears in front of millions that to me is a horrid thing to do to a child both parents and the shows producers should know better someone very young should not have to deal with that at a young age.

i brought this up the other day like quite a few on here.

trouble is when you actually reflect on the other acts weve seen its only really the ventrioloqist guy that could have actually made the final.
the others have been absolutely dire.

fat drag queen
flower arranging/opera singing
guys pushing barrows about
lame belly dancing
escapology:sleep:
human saxophone player

etc etc etc

this has been the worst year so far im afraid for non singing/dancing acts.

I dunno the escapologist was quite good and the wheelbarrow throwers were something different! I guess it depends, Cowell isn't going to like it if he can't sign it up is he? The problem is if your act is throwing wheelbarrows around there isn't an awful lot you can do differently is there?

That, and if Cowell just puts through singers and dancers is it worth other acts applying when they will be X'ed and ridiculed?
