Now I think she's not that good at all and if she were to win, she wouldn't really fit in working in the wilds of Essex for SirAlan. She wants a stepping stone to something more glam, IMHO.

Yasmina and Lorraine for my Final Two.

Why? What's she done that's offended you?

i thought she was a bit arrogant tonight myelf

especially when she sold a total of 12 jackets then tried to blame lorraine aobut her presenting skills

If people are annoyed with her cause of her talking "down" to Lorraine, that is just the way Lorraine has spoken to Yasmina on more than one occasion.

I'm sure the OP can answer that better than you can.

The more I've watched Lorraine, the more manipulative and sly that I've seen her. She's good at orchestrating a drama and then standing back and watching the fireworks.

I'm not offended, I just don't think she's as strong as the other candidates now, plus I can't see her genuinely wanting to work for SirAlan long term.

I never got the Kate hype myself. All I could remember was her telling people they were going to serve hot tomato and mozzarella salads and not knowing what blinis were etc. She's never seemed like she's got an 'edge' and seems a bit snooty and above herself.

I'd love to see Yasmina and James in the final, but I think it'll be kate and Yasmina.

I think that considering that it was only three people in the firing line tonight out of six, then it's a bit of an unfair assumption to make of her judged on tonight's task.

As for her genuinness in working for SA, can we say for absolute proof that any of them want to work for him......or are the others just better at acting that part?

I thought she was right to criticise Lorraine really - her presenting skills weren't that great, even though I do like Lorraine. Her and Howard did do poorly presenting the chip fryer.

I actually thought Kate did a good job at presenting the crafts product. She did the best she could with a poorly selected product. Either her or Yasmina are going to win, I think.

Kate is an extremely strong candidate and I think she ticks all the right boxes (even though Lorraine is my favourite).

On the contrary.....I don't get the hype about Yasmina. She's been pretty well hidden this past few weeks and not been in the spotlight at all. Whereas Kate has had the full headlight glare on her.

I've never managed to warm to Kate and tonight I went off her altogether.

It's Debra or Yasmina for me, with Lorraine third.

I thought she was really competent tonight - she zeroed in on the two best products, and her tv persona can't really be held against her.

On the other hand I thought she was realy defensive and unattractive in how she delt with Lorraine, and she was pretty mealy-mouthed in the Boardroom.

As a candidate I like her more, as a person less.

I think if peeps have had their favourites pretty much set from the start, then nothing is going to change minds.

I admit that I've found Kate pretty much a steady candidate throughout and have gone up and down with some others.

But I really don't get the criticism of her at all tonight. It's totally unjustified IMO.

I think that she and Lorraine have issues and we seen those cracks forming tonight.

Everything else is down to whom you support in the end.

I think Kate is probably nice person but on tv I can't warm to her (if that makes sense)

She is very competent but bar the cereal task nothing outstanding.

I thought her reaction to Lorraine complimenting Howard was a bit off....

On the contrary, I thought that Lorraine was rubbing it in a bit and deliberately snubbing Kate. It's amazing how we can all interpret things differently, isn't it?

So did I.

Howard was clearly the better solo performer during the practice run and the camera did like him very much.

I sense Kate thought he'd stolen her thunder - and held Lorraine responsible.

I think it was both. Lorraine seems to think Kate gets a lot of favours because of her beauty and has brought it up twice now. I'd hesitate to call her a bit bitter, but she has a distorted sense of what Kate's good looks will get her, and she's a tad snide and unpleasant about it.

Having said that Kate shouldn't have acted like such a piss-pants baby about it. I've found her really warm and appealing when she hangs around Howard, but this week she just seemed abit put-out that somebody was trying to oust her as his chief fag-hag.

Kate didn't (not) sell the jackets that was Lorraine and Howard. She was stuck selling the rubbish Lorraine ahd picked and Howard had agreed to.

Its not only unjustified it misses the point the show repeatedly was making. The task was about selecting the right things to sell. SAS pointed out umpteen (at least 3) times that the things Kate chose were the right ones or even better the "top" choices. He doesn't make a point that often if its not crucial and he could hardly miss who did get it right. She also did a good job at the directing (better than Debra who missed the price foul up) and after a quiet start looked OK at trying to sell the rubbish items. The criticism of Kate didn't make much sense unless SAS expected her to look better than Debra selling or he expected her to sell rubbish. Kate's two failures selling have been trying to sell complete rubbish and it may be that he's marking her on expectations.

The logic of who chose what was that Kate got it right, Lorraine and Howard got it wrong (naff products) and Yasmina and Debra went for the wrong (safer) strategy but made it work well.

The show didn't focus on Yasmina that much which may be a bit unfair but is suggestive. She got the SAS label safe which he used to get rid of Howard.

Kate got the strategy and the risk taking right but SAS has suggested he wants something more. She's less obviously ahead and she doesn't have another task to impress in before the final one.

Tonights big winner is Debra who impressed him more than Kate at selling. He went on and on about being tough and taking risks which seems to fit Debra .

The question is if the criticism of Kate is a red herring and he has taken on board who made the right business decision. He's obviously laying the ground case for Debra to do well too. Kate v Debra is an interesting last two choice as Kate's been portrayed personally as the safe and Debra as the unsafe choice but if you actually look at tonight its Kate who made the unsafe choice that he approved of.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if its Debra who wins . He's got stick for avoiding the tough women over the years and she would stop anyone raising the point again. He's also got an aversion to his smartest candidates . She also may remind him less of Michelle and more of himself.

My opinion on Kate has gone down recently, but I still think she's top 2 material.
