I don't think she'll win. Remember when she dared to speak out against Nick's comments and Sugar was clearly annoyed. I don't think she was in the wrong to speak out but Sugar may perceive her as a loudmouth and someone people will struggle to get along with. It's possible she'll come over a bit confrontational in the interviews and the interviewers will report back to Sugar and say she's a bit too confrontational or arrogant.

IMO none of these candidates this year stands out in terms of skills & likeability factor compare to previous series.

I think SAS will definitely have the hardest time this year to pick out the best of the worst.

However I won't be surprised if Lorraine & Yasmina reach the finals.

I think this years final will be quite interesting because there is literally only one 'yes man' left and that's James. I wouldn't call any of the remaining women 'yes men / women' they are all strong, forthright, opinionated and outspoken ( although some are better at presenting their opinions than others! ) If James gets knocked out next week then SAS will have an unusual choice, in that none of the candidates are as pliable as the ones he's had in the finals before.

I'm starting to wonder actually if James might not do quite well in the interviews and get good feedback, he does after all have likeability combined with a good CV. His performance as PM might let him down though....

To be honest I think they're all more competant than last year's lot and in terms of likeability , well I wouldn't say that they're anymore dislikeable than Helene,Micheal,Claire & Alex.

Doesn't stop them winning the competition though does it (Lee McQueen)?

It'll be more interesting if they got hold of Lorraine's tax forms from when she worked for her dad...

According to a spokesperson for the program, She was questioned by police and released without charge and has since been cleared of any wrong doing she wouldn't have got through the selection process if she had been suspected of being involved in any criminal activity.

I can't see Debra winning myself. She's far too confrontational and aggressive and she doesn't work very well in a team. She did well on the task yesterday, but she was essentially working on her own.

I think Yasmina has a good shot of winning. She's as dominant as Debra (Debra rightly pointed this out) but she isn't as confrontational and is capable of getting on with others.

My understanding from the press release was that she did not disclose her involvement in the investigation. Her questioning was by the Inland Revenue and she has not been charged. The investigation is on-going.

Attractive blonde? Michelle, in my eyes, was a greasy-haired plain Jane.

Debra wont win. She has one good round, that all. Sir Alan did say at the beginning of the program he wasnt looking for a presenter. Debra excelled at presenting thats all. She didnt excel in other areas, or at least she wasnt complimented about other areas.

Maryam did well at the tv presenting lark a couple of series back, she still got fired. Sir Alan isnt after a presenter. She will get fired next week.

Naomi? There were three girls in the TV presenting episode a couple of series back. Katie, Kristina, Naomi. Naomi was fired after that episode, Katie walked after the interviews, Kristina came second to Simon Ambrose.

No she won't. She'll get through the interviews. She'll get through to the final two. But she won't win.

No Maryam, she was in the 1st (?) series. It defiantly wasnt the last series.

You said a couple of series back. We are currently in series 5. So I told you who took part in series 3. A couple means two.

It hasn`t done Gordon Ramsay any harm

Well, you got the wrong name - it was Miriam, and used couple to mean '4', so it's hardly splitting hairs.

I've been a fan of Debra since the first task. However, I don't attach much weight to the praise she got selling. Mona also got praised for selling extremely well, and was fired the following task. It doesn't mean much. Much of it was just a stick with which to beat Kate.

Debra is the only candidate that I vaguely want to win (possibly Lorraine too, but only because I feel she's been picked on).

I think the criticisms regarding Debra have been exaggerated. Whilst she's very direct and has a no nonsense approach, I don't perceive her as aggressive or malicious.

I like Debra i think she or Yasmina should win.

well..... I would hate to bring the thread down to a certain level...... but I'd nail Michelle Dewbury so hard that whoever pulled me out again would be crowned the next king of England.

She's tough as nails which is why she'll win.”

Telling someone to F off as part of the banter is entirely different to telling them to F off and really meaning it. I suspect that Debra, when asked, meant she used the term in the latter sense not the former.

Whilst I can't say for certain I don't think she'll win because she's far too abrasive and arrogant. SAS doesn't want someone who thinks they know it all and will argue back - he want's someone who he can mold and who'll accept his word without giving him grief.

If this was taking place 20 years ago I suspect SAS might well have employed her but these days he doesn't want the grief of someone who's going to argue with him.

I think any three of them could win and wouldn't a Debra win be the most dramatic of any of the series to date.”

I've thought from the early stages that Debra would win.

General Zod (aka Sir Alan Sugar) likes to imply that he's got her card marked, but I think that he secretly sees her as his new Apprentice.

If Yasmina is similar to Kristina, then dare I say...could James be this year's Simon Ambrose (clownish guy who people thought wouldn't win)?

Just a suggestion. But in my opinion Yasmina is most likely to win. Debra might be a good salesperson - but SAS has seen her type before and he doesn't usually hire them, unless he breaks with tradition. Kate looks like she's being set up for a fall by the editing, judging from last week's episode.
