Is anyone planning to go to the Depeche Mode concert at the O2 arena this Saturday at all?

If yes then do you know if its on/off?

The Depeche Mode web site is saying nothing about it, and my friend who is going is pulling his hair out trying to find out what's happening.

If the web site admins just bothered to put something on their news page then him and thousands of others that are going would at least know whether or not to cancel their travel arrangements and hotels.

Does anyone on DS know the answer?

No it's not... It has been postponed.

So they wait until 2 DAYS before the gig to let the literally thousands of fans know

How many of them now will be able to cancel their travel plans, get refunds on their bookings etc.?

I hear that Dave Gahan the lead singer has had a malignent tumour in his bladder removed, and I obviously wish him a speedy recovery.

But the band's management have NO EXCUSE for leaving it so late to inform the fans of the postponement of the O2 concert.

The fact that Dave Gahan has already had the operation suggests they would have known for days that he wouldnt be able to do any more gigs for a while afterwards.

They are a disgrace.
