I don't have a link to it , but due to the clash with the football thingy it's been pushed 3 days early to Sunday 7th June so only 3 days between the interviews and the final.

If that's true, it really sucks. I'll have to watch it online. It's probably a better decision for the BBC though.

So they don't mind the programme clashing with the Champions League Final, but they move it so that it doesn't clash with England playing a game that they will easily win against Andorra? Surely anybody who is wanting to watch the England match and The Apprentice will just record The Apprentice - same as they did last night when the Barca-Man Utd game was on?

I trhink it's because it's the Apprentice final , the winner will be in all the papers the next day and if people find out they may not bother watching the show on repeat.

Plus the final is a big thing

STV prob won't show the soccer match up here though (they're not even showing the "Benidorm" special next week) and, as said, I'd have thought the one last night was a bigger thing (it certainly well beat 'The Apprentice' up here).

that is terrible. i started watching the apprentice because it was on wednesday. i can't watch it on sundays and i can't watch it online as i am out of the country and bbc online doesn't work abroad.

I am so angry that they have taken it off for that rubbish.

Can't you just watch it on iPlayer whenever it is you travel to the UK then? I can't imagine there'll be much media coverage of the UK Apprentice abroad, so you should be able to avoid most spoilers.

I heard this on GMTV this morning.

It's a big surprise - I don't think they'll get as high viewing figures simply due to the fact that people will forget about it, pure and simply.

They will mention it during Wednesdays show

Why not put in on BBC2?

thanks katie for thinking of that, for me.

i can skyplus it. but will have to avoid digital spy all week (which i won't want to do during big brother)

I like to play along too. oh never mind. it isn't the first time that football has ruined a programme for me and it probably won't be the last.

The football looks like its created a scheduling nightmare..... the revised date is far from ideal as it clashes with the Euro elections results (which would normally be on BBC1). These have instead been moved to BBC 2. All very complicated.

This is good for me as I'm on holiday the Wednesday so I won't get the result spoiled now!

This makes sense, It was a nightmare trying to avoid the result all day yesterday. Had to ignore most of my igoogle rss feeds, not use DS or Twitter and not put BBC NEWS on all day!

Why is it on a Sunday and not the following Wednesday? I dont ever remember the final being on a day other than Wednesday.

They've really mucked this up.
With five left for the interviews and a triple firing, they couldn't have quite easily had another task before the interviews and had the final a week later.

I suppose they kept the number of episodes the same in case Sir Alan did a double firing.

I imagine they just overlooked the fact that the football was on, and paniced. Its a shame for those who wont be able to see it, but for me its not a problem - I just get to find out who wins 3 days sooner

Well it would be on the same time on the same night - so those expecting to watch it at the normal time could do so.

It's because it'll dent the ratings of the final which is set to bring in its biggest ever audience.

If the final is being moved for the football, putting it on BBC Two wouldn't make any difference because the football is on ITV1.
